1 Corinthians 2:5 Not by men's wisdom but on God's power!

My faith is not based on men's wisdom (diet plans, exercise regimes, sets of do's and don'ts) but on God's power (divine health, wholeness and well-being) through the finished work of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ at the cross! 1 Corinthians 2:5

Romans 5:19
For as by one man's disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of One (Jesus Christ) shall many be made righteous.

Ephesians 1:7
In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of God’s grace

Philippians 4:6 – Thank Your Way To Peace

Philippians 4:6
Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God;

You would probably have read this verse before, but would you like to know how to apply it in your everyday life? Let me give you an illustration to help you.

Let’s say that you are one of those in your company eligible for a promotion and you will know tomorrow whether you get it. You want the promotion badly because it means more income for your family. So you lie in bed at night tossing and turning. You pray, “Father, please take away all my worries about this promotion. Give me faith.” One hour later, you are more anxious than ever. It seems like God is not answering your prayer!
How come? Because you are not doing it God’s way.

Pray like this instead: “Father, I cast all my worries about the promotion into Your loving hands because You care for me and love me.” The Bible tells us to cast all our cares upon the Lord for He cares for us. (1 Peter 5:7) Then, say, “Father, I would like to have the promotion.” It is okay to ask Him for that. Now, here comes the most powerful part — thanksgiving. Finish off with thanksgiving.
Thank God for His faithfulness.

Say something like, “Father, whether I get the promotion or not, I thank You that You will always provide for my family with more than enough. You who feed the birds of the air and clothe the lilies of the field will take care of us. So I am not going to worry about this promotion. You are the source of all my blessings.” (Matthew 6:30, Philippians 4:19)

When you pray like this, all of a sudden, you are no longer held hostage by the promotion. I call this the “thank You” therapy. The more you know God’s Word, the more you can thank Him. The more you thank Him, the more His peace reigns in your heart. And many a time, before you know it, it is morning! You don’t even remember falling asleep. The peace of God reigns like that.

My friend, whatever your concern is, bring it to your Father in prayer and thank your way to peace!

Daniel 9:24 – Once Righteous, Always Righteous

…to finish the transgression, to make an end of sins, to make reconciliation for iniquity, to bring in everlasting righteousness… Daniel 9:24

You may have seen high-speed video footages of a caterpillar turning into a colorful butterfly. But have you ever seen a butterfly changing back into a caterpillar? Of course not! Why? Because it’s impossible!

It’s the same with your salvation. Once you are saved, you are saved forever. The righteousness that you have in Christ is an everlasting one—you cannot become unrighteous again. Once you are born again as a child of God, it is impossible for you to become “unborn.” Once you are a saint washed by the blood of Jesus, in God’s eyes, you cannot revert to your old, unsaved sinner state. Even if you fall into sin, you are still the righteousness of God in Christ because your justification is not by works, but by faith in Jesus Christ (Galatians 2:16).

Let’s come back to the butterfly. Once in a while, the butterfly may fly around and land on a rubbish heap, instead of a pretty, nice-smelling flower. But does that cause it to change back into a caterpillar? No, and it’s only a matter of time before it leaves the rubbish heap for the flowers. Likewise, when a Christian falls into sin, he doesn’t lose his righteousness and transform back into an unsaved sinner. No, he is still righteous and it is this consciousness of his righteousness in Christ that will empower him to leave that sin and overcome future temptations (Romans 5:17).

Beloved, the more you believe that you have this everlasting righteousness from Jesus, the more you will live up to your new identity and reign in life!

Isaiah 54: 9 – 10 GOD is NOT angry with us :)

Genesis 9: 12 – 17
And God said, “This is the sign of the covenant I am making between me and you and every living creature with you, a covenant for all generations to come: I have set my rainbow in the clouds, and it will be the sign of the covenant between me and the earth. Whenever I bring clouds over the earth and the rainbow appears in the clouds, I will remember my covenant between me and you and all living creatures of every kind. Never again will the waters become a flood to destroy all life. Whenever the rainbow appears in the clouds, I will see it and remember the everlasting covenant between God and all living creatures of every kind on the earth.”

So God said to Noah, “This is the sign of the covenant I have established between me and all life on the earth.”

Isaiah 54: 9 – 10
“For this is like the waters of Noah to Me; For as I have sworn That the waters of Noah would no longer cover the earth, So have I sworn That I would not be angry with you, nor rebuke you. For the mountains shall depart And the hills be removed, But My kindness shall not depart from you, Nor shall My covenant of peace be removed,” Says the LORD, who has mercy on you.

GOD is NOT angry with us.
GOD loves us and wants to be Our Father and pour His Favor on us.

Matthew 26:27–28 Daily Communion With The Lord

Then He took the cup, and gave thanks, and gave it to them, saying, “Drink from it, all of you. For this is My blood of the new covenant, which is shed for many for the remission of sins.”
Matthew 26:27–28

Why do we take the Holy Communion? Is it to get something out of the Lord? No, taking the Communion reminds us of what Jesus has already provided and accomplished for us at the cross.

My friend, has Jesus already made provision for our sins at the cross? Yes! Then you no longer have to live feeling condemned for your sins. Has Jesus already made provision for our healing at the cross? Yes! Then you no longer have to accept the disease in your body, and you can start believing Jesus for total healing. Has Jesus already made provision for our lack on the cross? Yes! Then you no longer have to accept lack and can start believing Jesus for His abundance to start flowing and manifesting in your life.

So take the Communion daily and have a fresh revelation of all the good that Jesus has already made provision for through His finished work.

2 corinthians 5:21 - Divine Exchange

I AM THE RIGHTEOUSNESS OF GOD IN CHRIST JESUS!

You know it but do you confess it with your mouth? Utter these powerful words and believe!

For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him. 2 corinthians 5:21

2 Corinthians 3:18 – Behold The Glory Of Jesus In You

2 Corinthians 3:18
But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord.

When you look in a mirror, what do you see? Of course, you see yourself. But God does not want you to see yourself in the natural. You may be sick, weak, broke and depressed, yet God wants you to see yourself the way He sees you — healed, strong, favored and whole because Christ is in you. (Colossians 1:27)

God wants you to behold as in a mirror the glory of His Son who is in you by His Spirit. As you do this, His Word says that you are being transformed from glory to glory — from sick to healed, loser to winner!
The world may say to you, “It can’t be that easy. You can’t be transformed just by beholding the glory of Jesus. No, you must do something about you. If you don’t put in effort, nothing will happen. If you don’t start making changes, nothing will change.”

But the world will never understand that as you are beholding the glory of the Lord, who is the successful one in you, you are being transformed from a failure to a success. And this is not accomplished by any effort of yours to get ahead in life, but by the Spirit of the Lord! (Zechariah 4:6)

As you behold the glory of the Lord who is the healthy one in your sick body, you are transformed from sickness to health. And this is not accomplished by any effort of yours to keep fit and eat well, but by the Spirit of the Lord!

My friend, what can be easier than beholding the beauty of the Son? So stop focusing on yourself and your efforts. Look away from these things and begin to behold the glory of Jesus who is in you right now, and you will begin to behold the miracles that you need!

Give our Lord Jesus all the praise :)

Hebrews 13:5 – Never Forsaken by God

He Himself has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.” Hebrews 13:5

On the cross of Calvary, Jesus cried out, “My God, My God, why have You forsaken Me?” so that you and I will never be forsaken by God. A divine exchange took place. Jesus took our sins and gave up the presence of God, while we took Jesus’ righteousness and received the presence of God that Jesus had. God’s presence is now ours for eternity!

When God said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you” (Hebrews 13:5), a “double negative” is used to convey the strongest sense of “never” possible in the Greek language. The Greek words ou me are used, which in essence mean, “never never” or “never ever.” And this double negative appears twice in this one statement from the Lord — ou me is used for both “never” and “nor.” In other words, God is saying, “I will never never leave you and I will never never forsake you!”

My friend, settle it in your heart once and for all — God will never leave you! He will never forsake you! And if you hear anyone telling you that you can forfeit the presence of God, stop listening. Don’t let that person rob you of the certainty of God’s presence in your life. When God says “never ever,” He means “never ever,” and our God cannot lie! This means that Jesus, your peace, provision and wisdom, is always with you. Believe it, practice His presence and see good success!

John 8:12 – What The Light Of The World (JESUS) Does

Then Jesus spoke to them again, saying, “I am the light of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life.” John 8:12

To the woman caught in adultery, Jesus said, “Neither do I condemn you; go and sin no more” (John 8:11). He gave her the gift of no condemnation so that she would have the strength to “go and sin no more.” But do you know what Jesus said next? He said, “I am the light of the world.”

Many of us, when we hear how Jesus is the light of the world, are afraid to face Jesus because we think that His light will expose all our sins. Perhaps you have heard preachers say, “Don’t you for one moment think that you can hide your sin! Jesus, the light of the world, will expose your sin to everyone!” Many of us think that that’s what “the light of the world” does — He exposes our sins.

But look at the context in which Jesus declared that He is the light of the world. He had just saved the woman and exposed the hypocrisy of the Pharisees. This tells me that the light of Jesus in your life does not condemn, humiliate or shame you. The light of Jesus in your life shows how perfectly cleansed you are by His blood! It shows the efficacy of His blood and the perfection of His work at Calvary.

Beloved, don’t be afraid to come into God’s presence. His light is not there to show up your sins. It’s there to show how beautiful, radiant and glorious you are because of Christ’s finished work! Begin to see yourself in this same light and expect to reign in life because you have been made righteous and glorious by what Christ has done!

Give our Lord Jesus all the praise :)

Happy 20th Wedding Anniversary

To my precious darling wife Daisy

Happy 20th Wedding Anniversary

Thank you for being my wife, partner and bestest friend all these 20 years and celebrating life with me. It has been a life-changing journey and I look forward to many many more years spent with each other as we grow YOUNG together. For others, to be married for 20 years is quite an achievement and for us, this is even more so on account that we have spent the last 20 years being together 24/7, 365 days every year because we also work together :) Other spouses have to go off to work and spend half the day commuting to work and being at work, thus missing out on spending time together. We are so blessed that we get to spend all our time together. So it's more like 40th anniversary but who's really counting when you are having the time of your life. JESUS is the glue that holds our marriage together and we have truly been blessed by His GREAT LOVE!

Looking forward to spending the day celebrating and spending the rest of our lives together forever because thanks to what JESUS has finished and accomplished at the cross, death has lost its sting and we will never be separated.

From the bottom of my heart
Love you always and forever

John 14:27 - Jesus Has Given You His Peace

John 14:27
Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you...

In Israel, Jews greet each other with the words “shalom, shalom”. Unlike the English word “peace”, “shalom” does not just mean peace of mind, but also wholeness for your entire being — spirit, soul and body. It means having a sense of completeness and soundness. In other words, shalom encompasses your provision, health, safety and total well—being.

When Jesus spoke to His disciples in John 14:27, He did not use the English word “peace”. He would have used the Hebrew word “shalom”, saying, “Shalom I leave with you, My shalom I give to you ” Interestingly, the word “leave” here actually means “bequeath”, the way a rich man bequeaths his estate to his beneficiary.
The disciples must have been excited when they heard that Jesus was bequeathing them His shalom. They must have known that to receive His shalom was to have His health because they had never seen Him sick. To have His shalom also meant never being in lack because He was never broke. Whenever He needed money, money was there. Once, money to pay the temple tax came in the mouth of a fish! (Matthew 17:24–27)

The disciples also understood that having Jesus’ shalom meant having His abundance because they had seen Him meeting the needs of thousands with plenty of leftovers. They saw him feeding 5,000 men (not counting the women and children) with 12 baskets full of leftovers! (Mark 6:34–44)

Jesus wanted His disciples to know that His peace was different from the peace that the world offers. His peace would change whatever trying circumstances that beset them. Even if it was a mega storm, it would have to bow to His peace. The Prince of Peace merely spoke, “Peace, be still!” and the winds and the sea obeyed Him. (Mark 4:39) His peace changed the mega storm into a perfect calm.

Beloved, that is the kind of peace that Jesus has bequeathed to you. Therefore, believe that His shalom which He has left with you will change all your difficult situations, bringing you from sickness, lack and mental anguish to health, provision and total wellness!

Malachi 3:10–11 "The Open Windows Of Heaven"

“Bring all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be food in My house, and try Me now in this,” says the Lord of hosts, “If I will not open for you the windows of heaven and pour out for you such blessing that there will not be room enough to receive it. And I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes, so that he will not destroy the fruit of your ground, nor shall the vine fail to bear fruit for you in the field,” says the Lord of hosts. Malachi 3:10–11

Beloved, do you know that God doesn’t need your tithe? I tell my congregation not to tithe if they have no revelation of tithing. This is because nothing will happen if they tithe out of fear or religious obligation.

My friend, only tithe to your local church if you have a revelation that it is an act of worship and thanksgiving to Jesus. You are saying, “Jesus, YOU are the source of all my blessings and increase. Thank You for always blessing me and my family out of the riches of Your grace.”

When you tithe out of such a revelation, God declares, “I will… open for you the windows of heaven and pour out for you such blessing that there will not be room enough to receive it… I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes, so that he will not destroy the fruit of your ground, nor shall the vine fail to bear fruit for you in the field.” Clearly, tithing is for those who have a revelation of God’s heart for our provision.

Can you see God’s heart to provide for every area of your life? When you have a revelation and worship Him with your tithe, you will experience the open windows of heaven!

Psalm 105:37 - Results of Holy Communion: Healing & Wholeness

He also brought them out with silver and gold, and there was none feeble among His tribes.
Psalm 105:37

On the night of the first Passover, God had told His people to take a lamb for each household, roast it, apply its blood on their doorposts and eat the roasted lamb in their homes that night. The next day, all the Israelites, with “none feeble” among them, walked out of Egypt into freedom.

Why eat the lamb roasted? Because it was a picture of Jesus, the true Lamb of God, exhausting the fiery wrath of God for all our sins and paying the full price for our healing at the cross.

The physical roasted lamb the Israelites ate was a shadow. Today, you have the real thing. Whenever you partake of the Holy Communion, see the true Lamb of God judged for your sins and sicknesses. He has freed and delivered you from every disease!

Psalm 91:16 – God Satisfies You With Long Life

With long life I will satisfy him, and show him My salvation. Psalm 91:16

God’s heart is never for you to suffer crippling illnesses, die prematurely or live a life that is miserable. Psalm 91:16 says, “With long life I will satisfy him, and show him My salvation.” That is God’s heart for you! This means that God not only wants you to have a long life, but He also wants you to have a satisfying life that is full of His peace, provision and joy! In the verse, the word “salvation” is the Hebrew word Yeshua, the name of Jesus. So God will satisfy you with a long life that is full of Jesus and His grace!

Beloved, chronic illness, depression and a short life are not, and will never be, part of God’s plan for you. He wants you to experience a long, full life in which you walk in all the blessings of health, wholeness and provision that He has given you through Jesus!

Today, see the provision that Jesus made at the cross to redeem you from every curse of sickness and lack. Give Him thanks and step into His provision of a satisfying and fruitful life full of health, strength, peace and joy!

God abhors sickness and He loathes poverty

From Joseph Prince's book "Unmerited Favor":
God abhors sickness and He loathes poverty. Religion will tell you that "God" wants you sick to teach you character and patience. Religion will tell you that "God" wants you poor, so that you will learn humility. These are LIES from the pit of hell!

God gave everything He had to annihilate sickness and poverty when He gave us His only Son, Jesus Christ, to die on the cross for us. He placed all humanity's sin, as well as the curse of sickness and poverty on the body of Jesus. Humanity only has to respond to Jesus' finished work, and all their sins will be forgiven, their physical bodies will be healed and their poverty will be history!

God wants you blessed spirit, soul and body. He is not against you having money and material things. He is against money and things having you. Use money and love people. Don't love money and use people. To be safe for success, keep your heart ablaze with passion for Jesus and His presence.

Ephesians 1:20–21 Far Above Every Negative Thing

...He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly places, far above all principality and power and might and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this age but also in that which is to come. Ephesians 1:20–21

Isn’t it wonderful to know that God does not measure and judge you based on your performance today? Instead, He looks at Jesus, and as Jesus is, that is how He sees you. His Word declares that “as He is, so are we in this world” (1 John 4:17).

Notice that it does not say that “as Jesus was on earth, so are we in this world.” That would be amazing enough because during Jesus’ ministry on earth, healing, blessings and abundance followed Him everywhere He went. Yet, that is not what the Word says. What it says is, “as Jesus is” (present tense). In other words, as He is right now, so are we in this world!

So just consider where Jesus is today. Right now, He is seated at the Father’s right hand, “far above all principality and power and might and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this age but also in that which is to come.” If I were you, I would take some time to meditate on this passage because as Jesus is, so are you right now, in this world. Meditate on how as Jesus is “far above all principality and power and might and dominion, and every name that is named,” so are you! See yourself as Jesus is, far above every principality and power, far above every disease and physical condition, far above every kind of fear, depression and addiction, and begin to reign over every negative situation in your life today!

Deuteronomy 33:25 God's promise to strengthen us :)

Deuteronomy 33:25
"As your days, so shall your strength be."

"As your days," says the God of Israel, "so shall your strength be." In every moment of need, "Fear not — for I am with you; be not dismayed — for I am your God." Isaiah 41:10

When difficulties and dangers arise in your path, let not the thought of your own weakness and insufficiency discourage you; for "I will strengthen you; yes, I will help you; yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness." Isaiah 41:10 "Without me you can do nothing;" John 15:5 but "My grace is sufficient for you — for my strength is made perfect in weakness." 2 Corinthians 12:9

2 Samuel 22:2–3 Look Up For Your Supply

The Lord is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer; my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge, my shield and the horn of my salvation. He is my stronghold, my refuge and my Savior… 2 Samuel 22:2–3

When the Israelites were slaves in Egypt, they relied on the River Nile, a natural resource, for their supply of water. They depended on their own hands to carry the water from the Nile and did not have to look to God for His supply. This is a picture of human self-effort.

On the other hand, in the promised land of Canaan that God had prepared for His beloved people, there was no River Nile to depend on. So they had to look up and depend solely on the Lord for the blessing of rain to fall upon their land.

Beloved, even as you labor diligently in your career today, what is your trust in? Is it in your self-efforts to provide for yourself, or is your dependence on the Lord to bless, increase and promote you? It’s time to look up, especially in times of economic turmoil when the “Niles” of the world are drying up. Look up to Jesus for your supply!

JESUS is Above All Things :)

Above all powers, above all kings
Above all nature and all created things
Above all wisdom and all the ways of man
You were here, before the world began

Above all kingdoms, above all thrones
Above all wonders the world has ever known
Above all wealth and treasures of the earth
There's no way to measure what you're worth

Crucified, laid behind a stone
You lived to die, rejected and alone
Like a rose, trampled on the ground
You took the fall and thought of me
Above all

Above all powers
Above all powers, above all kings
Above all nature and all created things
Above all wisdom and all the ways of man
You were here, before the world began

Above all kingdoms, above all thrones
Above all wonders the world has ever known
Above all wealth and treasures of the earth
There's no way to measure what you're worth

Crucified, laid behind a stone
You lived to die, rejected and alone
Like a rose, trampled on the ground
You took the fall and thought of me
Above all

Crucified, laid behind a stone
You lived to die, rejected and alone
Like a rose, trampled on the ground
You took the fall and thought of me
Above all

Like a rose, trampled on the ground
You took the fall and thought of me
Above all

Thank you Jesus

Matthew 6:11 – Today’s Bread Is Not For Tomorrow

Give us this day our daily bread. Matthew 6:11

Doctors have discovered that worry, stress, fear and anxiety can cause stomach ulcers, high blood pressure and other health problems. The Bible says that a merry heart does good like medicine, but a broken spirit dries the bones. (Proverbs 17:22) It also says that God wants us to prosper and be in health, even as our soul prospers. (3 John 1:2)

If you worry about tomorrow, you are trying to live tomorrow today!

God does not want you to do that. Jesus taught us to pray, “Give us this day our daily bread.” He did not say, “Give us this day our weekly bread.” God gives us daily bread, not weekly bread. God doesn’t give tomorrow’s bread today. And today’s bread is not meant for tomorrow!

God wants you to live today and not worry about what will happen or what you have to do tomorrow. He gives you sufficient grace for today, not tomorrow.

When tomorrow comes, the bread — provision and grace — will be there. By all means, do what you have to and prepare for the next day, but don’t worry about it. Just trust the One who wants you to give Him all your cares (1 Peter 5:7), and enjoy His peace and life today!

John 10:10 – GOD gives, multiplies and restores abundantly!

The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly. John 10:10

The Bible tells us clearly that God is a God of love, and our God of love is a good God! He is a God who longs to do good to His people. In fact, God desires to load His children with benefits every day (Psalm 68:19)!

Don’t ever be mistaken that a good God will give you sicknesses, diseases and all sorts of physical afflictions. God is constant and constantly good. Sicknesses, on the other hand, are always bad. They are part of the curse. Their purpose is to destroy a person.

Our good God gave us His Son, Jesus, so that you may not be destroyed but have life, and have it more abundantly! The Lord does not take away your life. Instead, He gives, multiplies and restores to you life and health. The more you meditate on and believe His love and goodness toward you, the more you’ll walk in an increasing measure of His health, wholeness and abundant life!

Exodus 12:13 – JESUS' Blood Alone Saves

Now the blood shall be a sign for you on the houses where you are. And when I see the blood, I will pass over you; and the plague shall not be on you to destroy you… Exodus 12:13

On the night of the first Passover, many of the children of Israel were probably anxious. Imagine one Israelite asking another nervously, “Did you hear that the angel of death is passing through tonight?”

“Yes! We were told to put the blood of the lamb on the doorposts of our home and everything would be all right. Is that true?”

Like the Israelites, you might be wondering, “Can the blood really protect me? How much blood do I have to put on my doorposts? Will the angel of death get me if I am fearful?”

My friend, don’t add to God’s conditions. He said, “When I see the blood, I will pass over you and the plague shall not be on you to destroy you.” He did not say, “When I see the blood, plus your understanding, efforts, obedience, faithfulness and refusal to give in to fear, then I will pass over you.”

It is the blood of Jesus alone that delivers you. If you think that it is because of your faith, then you will always be wondering, “Do I have enough faith?” No my friend, it is His blood alone that saves. And when God sees that you see that it is the blood alone that saves, He calls that faith in the blood, and every plague will pass over you!

God wants you to know that it is Jesus’ blood alone that saves because every time you think that your deliverance depends partly on God and partly on you, you will not have a settled peace in your heart. But when you know that it is the blood alone that saves, you will have an unshakable peace.

It was the blood that saved the children of Israel from the destroyer on that Passover night and it is still the blood that saves today. And all you need to do for the blood to avail is to say, “Father, I thank You that the blood of Jesus alone covers me and my family. No evil, plague or disaster will befall me or my family because of the blood!”

Give our Lord Jesus all the praise :)

Isaiah 54:14 – Be Established In Jesus’ Righteousness

In righteousness you shall be established; you shall be far from oppression, for you shall not fear; and from terror, for it shall not come near you. Isaiah 54:14

It is important for us to be established in the righteousness of Christ. Why? Because it will determine how we respond to the voice of accusation when we are believing God for big things and trusting Him for answered prayers.

Let’s say that you are driving to a job interview and the accuser says, “Look at how easily you lose your cool on the road. How can you have the cheek to expect good things to happen to you?” Now, you could respond by saying, “Yeah, you are right. How can I expect God’s favor to be on me at the interview?” That’s believing that you need to earn your own righteousness and place of acceptance and favor before God.

Or you could respond by saying, “Yeah, you are right. I don’t deserve to have God’s favor at all, but you know what? I am not looking at what I deserve. I am looking at what Jesus deserves. Even right now, Jesus, I thank You that You see me perfectly righteous. Because of the cross and Your perfect sacrifice, I can expect God’s unmerited favor at my interview!”

See the amazing difference? In the second response, you are established upon Jesus’ righteousness and not your own right doing or good behavior. So you go for the interview depending on the unmerited favor of Jesus and you do well. You drive home with peace and joy, feeling the Father’s love and favor. Consequently, you are more patient with other drivers.

Being established in our righteousness in Christ and depending on His unmerited favor results in a life of success, peace and practical holiness!

Give our Lord Jesus all the praise :)

Philippians 4:6,7 – Be Anxious For Nothing

Philippians 4:6–7
Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

When faced with a challenge or crisis, our tendency is to get all anxious about it. But God does not want us to react this way. He does not want us to be anxious about anything. Instead, whatever the problem is, He wants us to go to Him in prayer and supplication, telling Him what we need and thanking Him for the answer. When we do that, His peace, which surpasses all understanding, will guard our hearts and minds from all worries, anxieties and fears.

“Pastor Prince, it is easy for you to say, ‘Be anxious for nothing.’ Try living with my husband for one day. Try disciplining that wayward teenager of mine. Look at the balance in my bank account! How can I not be anxious?”
Hold it! I am not the one who said, “Be anxious for nothing.” The apostle Paul said it. Yet, it was not him — he was prompted by the Holy Spirit. And when Paul wrote that, he was a prisoner under house arrest in Rome. He had been sent to Rome because he had appealed to Caesar regarding his death sentence. The Jews in Jerusalem wanted him to be put to death. (Acts 28:16–20)

Yet, under those trying conditions, he wrote these words: “Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God.” If you are anxious or worried about something, remember those words. Let’s say that you are anxious about a huge debt. Go to the Lord and pray, “Lord Jesus, I no longer want to be anxious about this problem. I hand it over to You and ask for supernatural cancellation of this debt. It is in Your care now. You are in charge. I thank You for taking care of it.”

God is true to His Word. As you pray this prayer and cast your care to Him, you will find His peace setting your heart and mind at rest. So be anxious for nothing — let the One with whom nothing is impossible take care of it for you!

Ephesians 1:7 – Jesus, Divine Exchange

In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace. Ephesians 1:7

Let’s take a moment to reflect on the finished work of Jesus.

At the cross, Jesus gave of Himself completely and made a provision for the forgiveness of our sins that no one else could. He chose to lay down His life in exchange for ours. All our sins, failures and mistakes are forever washed away by the precious blood shed at Calvary! Truly, in Christ we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, “according to the riches of His grace”.

The Lord’s grace toward you is bountiful and rich. Today, receive His grace, His forgiveness, His love and His mercy in a fresh and powerful way. It is not material wealth that makes you rich. It is having Jesus — your greatest wealth!

You have “redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace”. Because Jesus’ work is complete, all your sins have been completely forgiven. And complete forgiveness means that the penalties for your sins can no longer fall on you because they had already fallen on Jesus at the cross. (Isaiah 53:5)

So don’t think for one moment that God is punishing you for some sin just because something bad happened to you. Look to the cross and know that all your sins have already been punished fully in the body of Christ. Believe that God is for you and expect victory!

Give our Lord Jesus all the praise :)

Philippians 2:13 – When God Does It, It’s Perfect!

Philippians 2:13
...it is God who works in you both to will and to do for His good pleasure.

When it comes to our areas of concern, our human efforts to solve our problems, despite the best of intentions, cannot produce results that are as beautiful as if we were to allow God’s wisdom and timing to do it. It’s when we rest from our self-efforts and struggles to solve our problems, and allow God to work in us and through us, that we see divine results.

Pastor often said this: If God wants all the glory, then allow Him to do all the work. God loves it when you look to and lean on Him alone. In heaven, it’s, “Worthy is the Lamb”, and not, “Worthy is the Lamb... and me”.

Stop trying to make it all happen through your own strength and wisdom. Cease from trying and start trusting the Lord. Let Him work in and through you to overcome your challenges, accomplish your dreams and fulfill His plans and purposes for your life. When God does it with His incomparable wisdom, power and timing, it can only be perfect!

Give our Lord Jesus all the praise :)

Mark 5:27–29 – See Jesus in His Grace and He Sees You in Your Faith

When she heard about Jesus, she came behind Him in the crowd and touched His garment. For she said, “If only I may touch His clothes, I shall be made well.” Immediately the fountain of her blood was dried up, and she felt in her body that she was healed of the affliction. Mark 5:27–29

“I don’t think I have enough faith to be healed.”

It’s not for you to see how much faith you have. That’s God’s department. All you need to do is simply see how gracious God is toward you.

The woman with the issue of blood didn’t go around saying, “I must have faith. I must have faith…” No, she wasn’t conscious of her faith (or lack of it). She was conscious of Jesus and His goodness. How? She heard about Jesus. She must have heard all about His kindness toward the sick and oppressed, and how He healed and delivered them ALL.

She simply saw Jesus in His grace, and Jesus saw her faith and affirmed it — “Daughter, your faith has made you well.” Just focus on Jesus’ grace. See how He healed ALL without qualification and keep hearing of His goodness!

Give our Lord Jesus all the praise :)

Leviticus 1:4 – Jesus our Everlasting Righteousness

Leviticus 1:4
Then he shall put his hand on the head of the burnt offering, and it will be accepted on his behalf to make atonement for him.

Imagine the perfection of Jesus covering you from head to toe in the sight of God every moment of the day. Does that sound like a dream? My friend, that is your reality today because Jesus became your burnt offering at the cross.
In the case of the burnt offering, when the offerer lays his hand on the animal sacrifice (Leviticus 1:3–4), the perfection and beauty of the unblemished sacrifice is transferred to him, and God sees and accepts him in the perfection of the animal.

In Hebrew, the word “accepted” implies being treated with favor, delight and acceptance. This means that you, for whom Jesus became a burnt offering, are treated by God with favor, delight and acceptance because the beauty and perfection of Jesus have been transferred to you. As your burnt offering, Jesus has made atonement for you on your behalf.

Jesus is your atonement or covering for sin. How precious Jesus is to the Father is how precious you are to the Father because when the Father sees you, He sees Jesus, your atonement, your covering.

So every day, take Jesus as your burnt offering. Come to God and say, “Father, I thank You that Jesus is my burnt offering. He covers me from head to toe with His righteousness. I thank you Father, that You see me without spot or wrinkle. You see me covered in all the value and perfection of the work of Your Son. What He is to You, I am. Who He is to You, I am. As He is now, so am I. I am in Him!” (1 John 4:17)

Jesus has you covered. You don’t appear before the Father with all your faults and shortcomings. Jesus proclaims to you what is right with you in spite of what is wrong with you because He has covered you with His perfection. Today, hear Him telling you, “Go, girl! I have you covered. There is nothing for you to worry about!” Hear Him saying to you, “Go for it, son! I am covering you. There is nothing for you to fear!”

Give our Lord Jesus all the praise :)

Matthew 6:33 – Seek First The Kingdom of God and His Righteousness

Matthew 6:33
… seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

God doesn’t want you grabbing the newspaper first thing in the morning and reading all the bad news in the world. He knows that if you do that, your heart will be full of cares, anxieties and even fears.

When you are reading the newspapers, magazines, medical journals, economic reports, watching movies or surfing the Internet all the time, then you are getting your “nourishment” from these sources instead of God’s Word. Now, I am not against these things. But if you constantly feed only on earthly things which cannot satisfy, you will fill your heart and mind with cares and worries.

Jesus doesn’t want you to end up worrying about your life — what you will eat, drink or wear — as these are the things that the Gentiles (people of the world) seek. He says that your heavenly Father knows very well that you need these things. (Matthew 6:31–32)

That is why He promises you that if you would seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, all these things that the world seeks after will be added to you. It will not just be given but added, which means greater in quantity and quality!

If you are faced with lack, don’t pursue material goods. Pursue God your provider. If you are sick, don’t pursue the “cure”. Pursue God your healer.

Don’t grab the newspaper or call your friend first thing in the morning to talk about the latest bad news. Instead, grab your Bible and read all the good news God has for you for the day. And as you seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, all the things that the world is running after will be added to you!

And where is the Kingdom of God? Check out the post HERE

Deuteronomy 28:12 – Blessed To Be Givers

The Lord will open to you His good treasure, the heavens, to give the rain to your land in its season, and to bless all the work of your hand. You shall lend to many nations, but you shall not borrow. Deuteronomy 28:12

God blesses you and provides abundantly for you and your family so that you can always find yourself in a place to give and be a blessing. He wants you to be a lender, rather than a borrower who is constantly struggling to pay off his debts, so that you can be a blessing to many.

Keep looking to His finished work to provide for all your needs. Look to Christ for your provision and by His grace be diligent in all that you do. You’ll be so blessed you can’t help but be a blessing!

John 16:13 – Rest Is Spirit-Directed Activity

However, when He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth… John 16:13

Resting in the finished work of Jesus is not inactivity or laziness. Rest will always result in Holy Spirit-directed activity.

While you are trusting God for your healing, you may need specific wisdom to deal practically with your physical symptoms. This comes from the Holy Spirit. He wants to guide you into all truth and lead you to victory.

For example, if you have a stomach ulcer, He may tell you, “Stop that stressful activity,” or “Spend more time playing with your kids.” You see, He knows exactly what the problem is and has the perfect solution that will bring about the results you desire!

Beloved, choose to tune in to the Spirit today and follow His promptings. You will find life, peace and victory!

1 Corinthians 1:30 – Jesus Is Our Wisdom

But of Him you are in Christ Jesus, who became for us wisdom from God… 1 Corinthians 1:30

God wants us to go after wisdom. In the Book of Proverbs, God tells us wisdom is the principal thing (Proverbs 4:7). We are not to go after riches. But when we have wisdom, all the things we seek will follow after us, including honor and length of days. So never make riches your goal!

If you lack wisdom, simply ask God for it. He will give it to you “liberally and without reproach” (James 1:5). The truth is that He has already given you wisdom when He gave you Jesus, “who became for us wisdom from God”.

So if you are facing a challenge at work and you don’t know how to resolve it, say, “Jesus, You are my wisdom. I thank You that You will provide me with the best solution.” If you have a wayward child, say, “Jesus, thank You for wisdom in loving and raising this child well.”

Meditate on how Jesus, in whom resides all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge, is in you, with you and for you today. He will lead you to do the right thing at the right time!

John 19:2 – Jesus Wore The Crown Of Thorns For You

John 19:2
And the soldiers twisted a crown of thorns and put it on His head...

If hard work is the formula for prosperity, then everyone who works hard should be prosperous. But this is certainly not the case. Many people who work very hard are still in lack!

I am not advocating laziness. What I am saying is that working hard by the sweat of your brow is not how God’s provision comes. In fact, if you have to work overtime all the time and are stressed out, you are probably operating under the curse.

What curse is that? It is this curse: “In the sweat of your face, you shall eat bread...” (Genesis 3:19) And it refers to the stress, struggle and anxieties that come with working hard and yet producing little. Now, work itself is not a curse since God gave Adam work before the fall - Adam was to tend the garden of Eden. It was only after he sinned that the land was cursed and it brought forth thorns, and man had to toil to eat of it. (Genesis 3:17-18)

But praise God, Jesus wore the thorns on His head to show you that He has borne this curse for you and redeemed you from it. He wore the crown of thorns so that you can work stress-free and yet have the results. You don’t have to be worried and stressed out day and night like the people of the world just to get ahead in life. Your heavenly Father can get you there without the worries and stress. (Matthew 6:31-33)

Beloved, every curse that was supposed to fall on your head fell on Jesus’ head, typified by the crown of thorns. He wore the crown of thorns for you so that you can have peace of mind. He wore the crown of thorns for you and took your curse so that you can wear the crown of glory and take His righteousness, and all the benefits of that righteousness!

Today, don’t labor and toil like the people of the world. Instead, expect to see the blessings of God come into your life without blood, sweat and tears because Jesus wore the crown of thorns for you!

Give our Lord Jesus all the praise :)

Romans 11:6 – Act Out Of Rest; You Cannot Work Out Your Salvation or Healing

For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God; not as a result of works, so that no one may boast. Ephesians 2:8,9

And if by grace, then it is no longer of works; otherwise grace is no longer grace. But if it is of works, it is no longer grace; otherwise work is no longer work. Romans 11:6

Whether it is partaking of the Holy Communion or confessing God’s Word, do these things out of rest. Don’t feel as if you need to put the demand on yourself to be healed. My friend, you can’t earn your healing. It is something that God gives you by His grace.

Beloved, God wants you to see that Jesus has already paid for your healing. Today, He is so pleased with Jesus’ finished work that He is more than happy to bountifully supply all the healing and provision that you desire.

When you truly have a revelation of this, nothing will stop you from declaring His Word over yourself and running to the Lord’s table with thanksgiving and expectation. And when you act in faith out of rest, it won’t be long before you see your miracle manifest!

Mark 9:23 – Believe in Jesus whose faith never fails!

Jesus said to him, “If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes.” Mark 9:23

Mark 9:23 has been traditionally taught to mean that you can have your miracle if YOU can believe. If you can’t believe, then Jesus isn’t going to give you your miracle.

But if you study the Greek structure of the verse, it’s actually saying, “Can you believe that all things are possible to him [Jesus] who is always believing?”

That makes a world of difference! It’s not about how well or how much you can believe, but WHO you believe. Jesus is the only one whose faith is always constant and never wavers. His faith never fails! And if you can believe that all things are possible for Jesus who never doubts, never wavers, then you are on your way to receiving your miracle!

Beloved, have faith not in your faith, but in Him who always believes and always wants to do good to you!

Give our Lord Jesus all the praise :)

John 15:5 – Be Conscious Of Your Position In Christ

I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing. John 15:5

Jesus says, “I am the vine, you are the branches.” He did not say, “I am the vine, try to be the branches.” In other words, He wants us to realize that we are already the branches. We do not have to struggle to become the branches.

We are the branches simply by being conscious every day of our position in Christ. Because we have received Christ, we are in Christ and are accepted in the Beloved. (2 Corinthians 5:17, Ephesians 1:6) God accepts us because we are in the Beloved and He is in us. And that is how God sees us today when we come into His presence.

What the devil wants to do then is to get you to focus on your condition instead of your position in Christ. The condition you are facing could be financial lack or deteriorating health. The devil wants you to focus on your condition and forget your position - that you are the righteousness of God in Christ and that you are seated with Him in heavenly places at the Father’s right hand. (2 Corinthians 5:21, Ephesians 2:6) He wants you to forget that you are an heir of God and a joint heir with Christ. (Romans 8:17)

The devil knows that once you focus on your position in Christ, it will give you the power to change your condition and circumstances. John 15:5 says that you will bear “much fruit”. This means that when you pray against any lack, abundant supply will flow. When you pray for healing, sickness will leave.

My friend, none of these things can happen by your own doing, but by His life which flows through you. Just as sap flowing through the branches of a vine will cause them to bring forth fruit, His life flowing through you will bring forth a bountiful harvest of provision, healing and miracles. You only need to remain conscious of who you are in Christ!

Give our Lord Jesus all the praise :)

Isaiah 54:9-10 – God Will Never Be Angry With You

“For this is like the waters of Noah to Me; for as I have sworn that the waters of Noah would no longer cover the earth, so have I sworn that I would not be angry with you, nor rebuke you. For the mountains shall depart and the hills be removed, but My kindness shall not depart from you, nor shall My covenant of peace be removed,” says the Lord, who has mercy on you. Isaiah 54:9-10

The good news of the gospel is that God will NEVER be angry with us. He only has to tell us this, but He wanted us to be so sure that He swore in His Word that He would never be angry with us again.

Today’s verses are from Isaiah 54, which is right after the famous messianic chapter of the sufferings of Christ in Isaiah 53. Therefore, Isaiah 54 is spelling out the triumphs and spoils of His sufferings.
Do you know why God will never be angry with us again? It is because of what Christ has accomplished for us! On the cross, God poured out all His anger on the body of His Son. Jesus exhausted all the fiery indignation of a holy God against all our sins. And because our sins have already been punished, God, who is a holy and just God, will not punish us today when we believe in what Christ has done. God’s holiness is now on your side. His righteousness is now for you, not against you. You are His beloved, in whom He is well pleased because of Jesus’ finished work!

When you believe this truth, you will have the confidence to face every challenge with boldness, knowing that you have God’s unmerited favor on your side!

James 5:16 – Your Prayers Produce Wonderful Results

...The earnest prayer of a righteous person has great power and produces wonderful results. James 5:16

When Jesus was crucified on the cross, not only did He wash away all your sins with His precious blood, but He also gave you His very own righteousness as a gift.

Do you know that you can never lose this righteousness? Your righteousness is a gift from Jesus because it is entirely dependent on His perfect performance and His perfect obedience, not yours.

Because you are forever righteous in Christ, God hears your prayers every time you pray. Apostle James tells us that the earnest prayer of a righteous man - that’s YOU - “produces wonderful results”. Not just plain results, but wonderful results!

What provision do you need today, righteous one? Favor for an interview, wisdom to clear your debts, healing for your children? As a righteous man or woman of God, boldly ask Jesus for what you need in prayer and expect to see wonderful results!

2 Corinthians 5:21 - Righteously Receive God’s Favor!

For He hath made Him [Jesus] to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in Him. 2 Corinthians 5:21

Jesus had no sin of His own, but He took upon Himself all of humanity’s sins. Similarly, you and I had no righteousness of our own, but on that cross, Jesus took upon Himself all our sins, past, present and future, and in exchange, gave us His perfect, everlasting righteousness.

Now, is this righteousness that we have received a result of our own works or His work? It is clear that our righteousness is a result of His work (Romans 5:17) and we can only receive His righteousness through His unmerited favor (Ephesians 2:8)!

Beloved, because Jesus has paid so dearly for you to have His own righteousness, you can cease from your own efforts to be righteous in God's eyes to earn His favor. See yourself the righteousness of God in Christ and expect the blessings of the righteous to manifest in your life!

Give our Lord Jesus all the praise :)

Ephesians 1:6 – God Is Well Pleased With You, His Beloved

Ephesians 1:6
...He [God] made us accepted in the Beloved.

Studies have shown that in the heart of every child is a cry for his father’s approval. Something happens when a father says to his boy, “Daddy is so proud of you.” Or when a father says to his girl,”You will always be Daddy’s favorite girl.”

You can catch such a similar special moment in the Bible when God the Father displayed His approval of His Son - “This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.” (Matthew 3:17) The Bible shows us that Jesus’ ministry began with the approval of the Father, even before He had performed any miracle.

Now, you may think that God would naturally say that of Jesus, but not of us. My friend, the truth is that Jesus came for us and as us. He died for us and as us. He received the approval of the Father for us and as us. He came as our representative. And if that is not enough, God tells us in His Word that we are “accepted in the Beloved”!

Why did God specifically say “accepted in the Beloved” and not simply “accepted in Christ”? I believe that it is because He is calling to our remembrance what had happened at the Jordan river where He said, “This is My Beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.” God wants us to know that we are His beloved and that He is well pleased with us.

God sees us as His beloved because He has made us accepted in the Beloved. He wants us to wake up every day knowing that we are His beloved, unconditionally loved and wholly approved.

The more we know how much we are loved and treasured by God, the more we can expect good things to happen in our lives. We can expect to be healthy and whole. When we realize that we are the objects of God’s love, instead of becoming easily frightened or threatened by anything or anyone, we become confident that we will win every fight of life.

That, my friend, is how your heavenly Father wants you to live. So live life today confident that you are God’s beloved!

Hebrews 8:12 – Your Sins He Remembers No More

For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their lawless deeds I will remember no more. Hebrews 8:12

“Why would God hear your prayer? Why would He heal you? Have you forgotten what you’ve done?” Have such thoughts crossed your mind and discouraged you from reaching out to God for your healing or some other breakthrough?

Such thoughts that condemn you aren’t from God or the Holy Spirit. They originate from the devil. The enemy wants you sin-conscious and will even tell you that it’s “godly” to be mindful of your failures.

God doesn’t want you sin-conscious – that’s not honoring what His Son has done for you at the cross. In fact, He declares in His Word that your sins and lawless deeds He remembers no more! God’s not keeping an itemized account of your sins. So why are you?

Don’t be sin-conscious today. Be Son-conscious, and watch God’s healing and provision for your every need manifest!

Galatians 2:21 – Don't let Jesus' death be in vain

I do not frustrate the grace of God: for if righteousness come by the law, then Christ is dead in vain. Galatians 2:21

Consider carefully what the apostle Paul is saying in today’s verse. He is effectively saying that if you are depending on your good works, your doing and your ability to keep perfectly the Ten Commandments to become righteous, then Jesus died for nothing! That’s what “in vain” means – for nothing!

So don’t frustrate the grace of God by depending on your good works to make yourself righteous and put God on your side. Jesus’ sacrifice is more than enough to make you righteous. And when you know that you are made righteous by Jesus’ work alone, regardless of your performance, you can be confident that God’s unmerited favor is on your side. You can expect good to happen to you today and every day!

Proverbs 10:6 – God Blesses You, The Righteous

Blessings are on the head of the righteous… Proverbs 10:6

Whenever you find a promise or blessing for the righteous in the Bible, grab hold of it by saying, “Father, I receive this blessing in Jesus’ name!”

Let me show you how to practice this. When you read in Proverbs 10:6 that blessings are on the head of the righteous, say, “Thank You, Father, this promise is for ME because I have been made righteous through faith in Jesus and His finished work!”

So every day, instead of fearing that lack will devour you, expect God’s provision and blessings to hunt you down and surround you! Expect good things to happen to you. Say, “Father, I thank You that Your blessings crown my head. Your bountiful provisions are upon me and my household!”

Beloved, the more you begin to believe and speak words of abundance, provision and increase, the more you will experience the full blessings of the righteous!

Psalm 103:2–5 – Forget Not All His Benefits

Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all His benefits: who forgives all your iniquities, who heals all your diseases, who redeems your life from destruction, who crowns you with lovingkindness and tender mercies, who satisfies your mouth with good things, so that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s. Psalm 103:2–5

God wants you to remember all the benefits that Jesus has purchased for you with His blood! It is His heart to see you enjoying every single benefit, every single blessing and every single favor from Him in the new covenant of His grace. Forgiveness of sins is yours. Health is yours. Divine protection is yours. Favor is yours. Good things and the renewal of youth are yours! These are all precious gifts from the Lord to you, and it brings Him unspeakable joy when He sees you enjoying these gifts and succeeding in life.

What we need today are not more laws to govern believers.
What we need is a greater revelation and appreciation of Jesus and everything that He has done for us! In Hosea 4:6, God lamented, “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge...” Let’s not be numbered among these people. Instead, let us be a people who are full of the knowledge of Jesus, His person, His love and His finished work.

Beloved, don’t allow your ignorance to rob you any more of any of His benefits. Find out all about your covenant rights and benefits in Christ today. Each day, remember them and meditate on them, and see His goodness toward you!
