Matthew 28:6 – Jesus is risen!

Matthew 28:5,6
The angel said to the women, "Do not be afraid; for I know that you are looking for Jesus who has been crucified. He is not here, for He has risen, just as He said."

Romans 4:25
He was delivered over to death for our sins and was raised to life for our justification.

1 Corinthians 15:17
And if Christ has not been raised, then your faith is useless and you are still guilty of your sins.

Because Jesus consumed all of God's wrath at the cross and paid for all our sins with His life, we are now the Righteousness of God in Christ.

2 Corinthians 5:21
For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.

And because all our debts have been paid, Jesus was resurrected / raised to life for our justification. Jesus rose again not because He is Son of God – that He always is, Jesus rose again to show us that our sins have all been put away and we now have right standing with God. Jesus' resurrection is God's declaration that we have been forgiven (now and forevermore) and we are now made righteous!

Give our Lord Jesus all the praise :)

Matthew 12:40 – Jesus was dead and buried

For just as Jonah was three days and three nights in the belly of the great fish, so will the Son of Man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth. Matthew 12:40

Three days and three nights - It will be seen in the account of the resurrection of Christ that he was in the grave but two nights and a part of three days. See Matthew 18:6. It was a maxim, also, among the Jews, in computing time, that a part of a day was to be received as the whole.

Three days and three nights - Our Lord rose from the grave on the day but one after his crucifixion: so that, in the computation in this verse, the part of the day on which he was crucified, and the part of that on which he rose again, are severally estimated as an entire day; and this, no doubt, exactly corresponded to the time in which Jonah was in the belly of the fish. Three days and three nights, according to this Jewish method of reckoning, included any part of the first day; the whole of the following night; the next day and its night; and any part of the succeeding or third day.

Jesus bore our sins on the cross, died to it and rose again without sin. Our sins were all on His body and having died to sin, we now can reign in life through Jesus Christ our resurrected Lord and Savior :)

Give our Lord Jesus all the praise!

The Crucifixion - Jesus' seven last words

9 a.m. - "The Third Hour" - Jesus is Crucified on the Cross (Mark 15:25)

Mark 15:24 - The Soldiers Cast Lots for Jesus' Clothing (Jesus was made poor so that we can be made rich - it's the divine exchange - Jesus took our place so that we can take His place)

Luke 23:34 (Forgiveness)
Jesus said, "Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing."

In the midst of His excruciating suffering, the heart of Jesus was focused on others rather than Himself. Here we see the nature of His love—unconditional and divine. While Jesus could have summoned legions of angels to bring vengeance on all of them, instead he pulled himself up and, with all his strength, offered a prayer on behalf of those who mocked and crucified him. He forgave His accusers so that they could still be saved!

10 a.m. - Jesus is Insulted and Mocked

Matthew 27:39-40 - And the people passing by shouted abuse, shaking their heads in mockery. "So! You can destroy the Temple and build it again in three days, can you? Well then, if you are the Son of God, save yourself and come down from the cross!" (NLT)

Mark 15:31 - The leading priests and teachers of religious law also mocked Jesus. "He saved others," they scoffed, "but he can't save himself!" (NLT)

Luke 23:36-37 - The soldiers mocked him, too, by offering him a drink of sour wine. They called out to him, "If you are the King of the Jews, save yourself!" (NLT)

Luke 23:39 - One of the criminals who hung there hurled insults at him: "Aren't you the Christ? Save yourself and us!" (NIV)

11 a.m. - Jesus and the Criminal

Luke 23:43 (Salvation)
"I tell you the truth, today you will be with me in paradise."

Grace poured out through faith, as Jesus assured the dying man of his forgiveness and eternal salvation. No effort on the man's part, just believe and receive the gift of Salvation.

John 19:26-27 (Relationship)
When Jesus saw His mother there, and the disciple whom He loved standing nearby, He said to His mother, "Dear woman, here is your son," and to the disciple, "Here is your mother."

Naked and in horrible pain, Jesus thought not of Himself but was concerned for the well-being of His mother after His death. Jesus, looking down from the cross, was still filled with the concerns of a son for the earthly needs of His earthly mother. None of His brothers were there to care for her, so He gave this task to the Apostle John. Here we clearly see Christ's humanity.

Noon - "The Sixth Hour" - Darkness Covers the Land
Mark 15:33 - At the sixth hour darkness came over the whole land until the ninth hour. (NLT)

1 p.m. - Jesus Cries Out to the Father
Jesus became sin so that we might become the Righteousness of God

Matthew 27:46 (also Mark 15:34) (Abandonment)
And about the ninth hour Jesus cried out with a loud voice, saying, “Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani?” that is, “My God, My God, why have You forsaken Me?”

Jesus took all our sins on his body (He knew no sin, He did no sin, in Him was no sin) and the Father turns way from the Son as Jesus bore the full weight of our sin. Throughout His life on Earth, Jesus has never addressed His Father as God and the Father had never forsaken His beloved Son. Jesus was abandoned and forsaken so that we will never ever be! Henceforth we can call God our Abba Father, Daddy God.

John 19:28 (Removal of curses)
Jesus knew that everything was now finished, and to fulfill the Scriptures He said, "I am thirsty."

Jesus took the sour wine and removed all generational curse. (Jeremiah 31:29 "The parents have eaten sour grapes,
and the children’s teeth are set on edge.")

2 p.m - It is Finished!

John 19:30 (Triumph)
... He said, "It is finished!"

Jesus has completed once and for all the work He came to accomplish! All sins have been forgiven! All sicknesses have been removed for His beloved believers! All debts have been paid! Death had lost its sting and power AND those who live in Christ shall never die but are truly saved and blessed forevermore!

Luke 23:46 (Reunion)
Jesus called out with a loud voice, "Father, into your hands I commit my spirit." When He had said this, He breathed his last.

As a King and Savior who has finished His mission, Jesus dismisses His spirit as a King dismisses His subjects - with authority! Even in death, Jesus reigned! He is altogether lovely.

3 p.m. - "The Ninth Hour"

Events Following Jesus' Death

The Earthquake
Matthew 27:51-52 - At that moment the curtain of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom. The earth shook and the rocks split. The tombs broke open and the bodies of many holy people who had died were raised to life. (NIV)

The Centurion - "Surely he was the Son of God!" (Matthew 27:54; Mark 15:38; Luke 23:47)

The Soldiers Break the Thieves' Legs (John 19:31-33)

The Soldier Pierces Jesus Side (John 19:34)

Jesus is Laid in the Tomb (Matthew 27:57-61; Mark 15:42-47; Luke 23:50-56; John 19:38-42)

Jesus Rises from the Dead (Matthew 28:1-7; Mark 16:1; Luke 24:1-12; John 20:1-9)

Jesus is risen to show us justification and the evidence of our sins having been put away. Because He conquered sin and death, we no longer have to be slaves to it. We are now conquerors through Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior!

Give our Lord Jesus all the praise :)

John 4:32 – Jesus Delights In You Drawing From Him

But he said unto them, "I have food to eat that you know not of." John 4:32

When people make demands on you or keep depending on you, you may end up stressed, tired and irritable. But this is not the case with Jesus. When people draw from Him, He is strengthened and refreshed! Jesus is, after all, God. And you honor God when you take your place as man and let God be God by drawing from Him. The One who said, “I did not come to be served, but to serve”(Matthew 20:28) loves it when you allow Him to minister to you.

The Bible tells us that when Jesus arrived at Sychar, He was wearied from the journey and rested at a well. A sinful Samaritan woman then came to the well to draw water. Jesus ministered to her and she left rejoicing with the promise of living water. The disciples, having returned with food for Jesus, found Him already strengthened and refreshed. When they wondered who had given Him food while they were away, He told them, “I have food to eat of which you do not know.” (John 4:1–42)

Today, when you draw from Jesus and let Him minister to you, it is “food” for Him that “refreshes” and “strengthens” Him.

But it takes humility for us to allow Jesus to minister to us. We take pride in doing things for the Lord. We want to build our businesses, families and ministries for Him. All that is good, but without Jesus, we are spiritually bankrupt! We really have nothing to give to the Lord and His work. What we need to do first is to receive from Him because when we freely receive from Him, we are able to freely give. (Matthew 10:8)

My friend, Jesus wants to minister to you. Don’t try to minister to yourself. That is pride and self-righteousness. The Pharisees of Jesus’ day, who felt that they did not need Him and that they could provide for themselves, were the ones who could not receive from Him. So bring to Him your needs and say, “Lord, I need to draw from You. I present my needs to You. Minister to me and meet my needs. I cannot, but You can. Thank you, Lord.”

Give our Lord Jesus all the praise :)

Hebrews 2:14-15 Rescued from death and all sicknesses

Since the children have flesh and blood, He too shared in their humanity so that by His death He might destroy him who holds the power of death – that is, the devil – and free those who all their lives were held in slavery by their fear of death. Hebrews 2:14-15

Did you know that God never meant for man to die?
God counts death as an enemy. He hates death. All things that lead to death, that sap life out of us, including all forms of sickness and disease, are not from God. Jesus wept at Lazarus’ tomb (John 11:35) because He remembered that it was never God’s heart for man to fall sick, grow old and die.

But because the consequence of sin is death, God sent Jesus to bear the punishment for all our sins. And at the cross, Jesus conquered death once and for all, setting us free from sicknesses and diseases forever (Isaiah 53:4-5)!

Today, know in your heart that God wants you healed and whole, strong and full of His life. He loves you so much that He sent Jesus to redeem you from death in all forms. The cross of Jesus is the reason you can enjoy His divine health and abundant life today!

Give our Lord Jesus all the praise :)

Back From The Dead – TRUE Story :)

"He's not the God of the dead but of the living. In God's sight all people are living." Luke 20:38

This news article "I have been blessed with a second chance" was published in The Sunday Times, March 24, 2013. Declared brain dead after suffering a heart attack, Lawyer Suzanne Chin wakes up from her coma three days after being admitted and ten days after the attack she was as good as new. The tear in her heart valve that was so obvious on several ECGs and the ensuing poor heart performance was totally healed.

Ms Chin had declared that she was a child of GOD and death had no power over her. Her brother who is a Singapore doctor had prayed for her and believed "My medical training told me there was no hope, but my faith in God said that there was hope in JESUS CHRIST."

1 John 4:10 – Let God Love You Instead

1 John 4:10
In this is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins.

“You have to love God more! You must have more passion for God!” You have probably heard this type of preaching and may have even tried your best to love God, only to fail miserably.

But what is the true definition of love? Let the Bible define it for us: “... this is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us...” Yes, it is not about our love for Him, but His love for us!

“Pastor Prince, the Bible says that you must love God with all your heart, soul and strength!”

Yes, that is true according to the law (Deuteronomy 6:5), and even Jesus taught that as the great commandment when He walked on earth. (Matthew 22:37) But that was before He died on the cross. At the cross, He became the very fulfillment of this law for us when He loved us with all His heart, soul and strength, by laying down His body and life on the cross for us.

Today, we are no longer under the law but under grace. And grace tells us that God loves us, not that we love God. Yet, we will love Him when we see how much He loves us. The Bible says that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us! (Romans 5:8) That’s how much He loves us!

Beloved, God has seen you trying your best to love Him. And because He loves you, He wants you to sit down and be still, and let Him love you instead. He wants to love you with all that He is and all that He has. He loves you unconditionally regardless of who you are or what you have done because His love is not dependent on you but on Himself. He will never stop loving you.

So let God love you today. Don’t worry about loving Him. The more of His love you receive, the more you will fall in love with Him!

Mark 10:45 – God Wants You To Draw From Him

For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life a ransom for many. Mark 10:45

Did you know that giving to you actually brings joy to God’s heart? When you place a demand on Him – like look to Him to heal you – you let Him be God. When you draw from His fullness – His abundance of life, health and blessing – you delight Him!

When you come empty and draw from God, the One who has endless supply, you honor Him and let Him be God. You free Him to pour His abundant supply of health, wholeness and peace into your life! That’s why God wants you to come expectantly to Him for your healing and for every single one of your needs today.

So see Him ready to pour His abundance out for you. See Him rejoicing when you call upon Him. Meditate on and see His heart of love that always wants to give to you. Receive from His fullness and see your healing and answer to every need manifest!

Give our Lord Jesus all the praise :)

Ephesians 1:6 – You Are Highly Favored Because Of Jesus!

...to the praise of the glory of His grace, by which He made us accepted in the Beloved. Ephesians 1:6

The Bible tells us that God has made us “accepted in the Beloved”. The Beloved here refers to Jesus and the word “accepted” means “given special honor” or “highly favored”.

So because you have received Jesus who is God’s Beloved, and you are found in Him, you are also God’s beloved son or daughter, deeply loved and highly favored by Him! Now, because you are highly favored by God in the Beloved, you can expect to have favor with your spouse, children, colleagues, clients and yes, even your in-laws! When you speak, people listen. When you step into a room, it lights up. Everything you touch is blessed and increased.

Beloved, as you meditate on how you are deeply loved and highly favored by your heavenly Father, expect good things to happen to you today. Expect divine protection because His favor surrounds you like a shield. Expect every need to be met by the One who highly favors you. Expect good, because you are precious in His eyes!

Romans 5:1 – Peace With God Through Jesus

Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ. Romans 5:1

The greatest blessing anyone can have is peace with God through Jesus Christ. Jesus took upon Himself all our sins at the cross. He absorbed all of God’s fiery indignation and judgment against all our sins, past, present and future, so that we can be totally forgiven and have peace with God.

So today, there is nothing between you and God. There is no more sin, no more shame and no more condemnation! Jesus’ sacrifice has given you everlasting peace with God. God is not angry with you. He never will be. He is on your side and for you all the way.

Now, what will you do today knowing that God is for you and that His assuring presence will never leave you? What will you do today knowing that all His favor, wisdom, heavenly provision and blessings are backing you up?

Exodus 12:13 – The Blood Of Jesus Protects

Exodus 12:13
... And when I see the blood, I will pass over you; and the plague shall not be on you to destroy you when I strike the land of Egypt.

For 400 years, the children of Israel were slaves in Egypt. Life for them was one of hard labor, pain, loss and even death. When Moses their deliverer came, what soon followed was one plague after another on the Egyptians. But none of the plagues caused Pharaoh to release the Israelites until they put the blood on their doorposts. What nine plagues could not do, the blood did! The Israelites were finally set free because of the blood.

Are you under any kind of bondage? Are your loved ones held captive by the destroyer who is bent on destroying them? Plead the blood of the Lamb of God over all that is yours and your family’s. When nothing else seems to work, His blood always works!

When I was a teenager doing a stint as a relief teacher in a primary school, one of the girls in my class was absent from school one day. I didn’t think too much about her absence until I returned home that afternoon. As I was praying, I was prompted by the Holy Spirit to pray for her protection and to cover her with the precious blood of Jesus.
It was revealed later on that she had been abducted by a notorious serial killer who had murdered a number of young children. My pupil recounted how she had been tied up and offered to the “deities” the killer had in his flat. Miraculously, he released her when the evil spirits found her to be an unsuitable offering.

Why was this pupil released unharmed? I believe that she was presented to the deities on the same afternoon that I pleaded the blood of Jesus over her. Of course, the evil spirits did not want her because the Most High God would not allow them to have her. God was protecting her. She was set free because of the blood of Jesus!

You see, when you plead the blood of Jesus, the destroyer cannot come near. When he sees the blood, he must respect the blood. He cannot touch what is covered by the blood. The blood of Jesus truly protects and sets you free!

Give our Lord Jesus all the praise :)

Deuteronomy 28:3 – Blessed Wherever You Are

Deuteronomy 28:3
Blessed shall you be in the city, and blessed shall you be in the country.

You may have heard of people who think that to have better “luck”, they have to move to a new home, work for a certain company or even migrate to another country.

The truth is that it is not the place that gets you the blessings, but whether God’s blessing is on you. And for you, child of God, you are already blessed with all spiritual blessings in Christ Jesus. (Ephesians 1:3) He has paid for your blessings with His blood. So the blessing is not on the land but on the man!

It was in the city of Jerusalem that Jesus was whipped, cursed and spat on. And it was outside the city on Calvary’s hill that He was pierced and crucified. That is why you are blessed in the city as well as outside in the country! In fact, you are blessed regardless of your location.

Perhaps you work in a non-Christian company and your boss doesn’t quite like you. In fact, he sometimes mistreats you.
But God can still bless you in spite of your boss. You get blessed because you believe God for it. It has nothing to do with your boss or the company.

Why then don’t you seem to see the blessings?
My friend, if you don’t see the blessings, check what you have been believing and saying. Some people complain and blame everyone and everything around them – their parents, race, gender, environment and government – for their lack of blessings. Beloved, I want you to believe and confess that you are blessed because of Jesus’ finished work on the cross, not because you are of a certain race or work in a certain place.

It does not matter where you work or live, what color your skin is or what you do for a living. If God blesses you, you are blessed! And it is all because of Jesus. So say to yourself, “I am blessed wherever I am – blessed in the city, blessed in the country!”

Give our Lord Jesus all the praise :)

Song of Solomon 5:16 – Jesus, Your God And Best Friend

His mouth is most sweet, yes, he is altogether lovely. This is my beloved, and this is my friend, O daughters of Jerusalem! Song of Solomon 5:16

Jesus is someone you can be completely real with. You can hang out with Him and be yourself, with no pretense and no play-acting. Jesus is ever-loving toward you and you can talk to Him about anything. He enjoys conversing with you about your dreams, aspirations and hopes. He wants to heal you of things in your past that you may be struggling with. He is interested in your present challenges. He wants to weep with you when you are down and rejoice with you in all your victories.

Jesus is love and tenderness personified. He is tenderness and strength wrapped up in one. He is meekness and majesty, manhood and deity, velvet and steel. He is 100 percent Man and at the same time 100 percent God. As Man, He understands and identifies with all that you have gone through, are going through and will ever go through in this life. But as a loving God, all His power, authority and resources are on your side.

Beloved, whatever you are facing today, let your heart rest easy in the power of His perfect love for you.

Genesis 39:2 – It’s Not What You Have But Who You Have

The Lord was with Joseph, and he was a successful man; and he was in the house of his master the Egyptian. Genesis 39:2

From Genesis 39:2, it is clear that success is not what you have, but rather who you have! Joseph literally had nothing materially, but at the same time, he had everything because the Lord was with him. The material things that you have accumulated or are feverishly trying to amass do not make you a success. It is the presence of the Lord in your life that makes you a success!

We need to learn to stop pursuing things and to start pursuing Him. God sees your relationship with Him as the only thing that you need for every success in your life. I can’t imagine starting in a worse place than Joseph. He was completely naked. He had nothing! No bank accounts, no educational qualifications, no natural connections with people of influence, nothing.

Thank God the Bible records a picture of Joseph who began with nothing, so that you and I can have hope today. If you think that like Joseph, you have nothing, well, you can start believing in the power of the presence of the Lord in your life. Start looking to Jesus and claim that promise in Genesis 39:2 for yourself!

Matthew 6:31,32 – Our Heavenly Father Already Knows All Our Needs

Therefore do not be anxious, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ These things dominate the thoughts of unbelievers, but your heavenly Father already knows all your needs. Matthew 6:32,33

Many Christians make the mistake of thinking that God is too busy taking care of the “big things” to be interested in the little problems they are facing. But God is not like that. He is not just God Almighty, He is also your heavenly Father who loves you! To God, whether it’s a new pimple on your face, a sore throat or an aching back, no matter how trivial or commonplace it sounds, if it troubles you, He wants to take care of it!

If, as the Bible says, God bothers to keep track of how many hairs you have on your head, then there is no symptom, no discomfort and no condition in your body that He doesn’t know of or care about. There is no event that has happened to you that has escaped His notice. His love for you is all-encompassing, personal and in-depth.

Beloved, there is nothing in your body or life that is too small that you can’t bring to Him and watch Him take care of. As you bring your needs to Him today, expect to experience His healing for your body and His provision for all areas of your life!

Romans 5:17 – Righteousness Is A Gift

For if by the one man’s offense death reigned through the one, much more those who receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness will reign in life through the One, Jesus Christ. Romans 5:17

You cannot merit God’s blessings through your good works. All His blessings, including the blessings of health, provision and success, are wrapped up in the person of Jesus! When you have Jesus, you have the gift of righteousness and the abundance of grace completely by His unmerited favor. You cannot earn them, work for them or deserve them. They are gifts!

Jesus is your righteousness, holiness and redemption. You are righteous, holy and redeemed (and blessed) not because of your good works, but because you have received God’s provision of His Son.

And because Jesus can never fail or be removed from the throne, you will always have Him as your righteousness, holiness and redemption! I encourage you to meditate on this powerful truth today. It will lift you out of the realm of doubt and fear and put you in the realm of faith and hope. It will cause you to reign over your circumstances.

Now, put your hand on your heart and say this: “Jesus, because I have You, I will always be righteous by Your precious blood. All the blessings, provision, favor and success that belong to the righteous are mine today and I receive them by faith! Amen and Amen!”

Give our Lord Jesus all the praise!

Psalm 103:1-5 – Unmerited Favor

Psalm 103:1-5
Bless the Lord, O my soul,
And all that is within me, bless His holy name.
Bless the Lord, O my soul,
And forget none of His benefits;
Who pardons all your iniquities,
Who heals all your diseases;
Who redeems your life from the pit,
Who crowns you with lovingkindness and compassion;
Who satisfies your years with good things,
So that your youth is renewed like the eagle's.

If you are facing challenges, such as lack in any area, addictions, fears, sicknesses or broken relationships, Jesus’ unmerited favor will protect, deliver, prosper, bring restoration to and provide for you. His unmerited favor will transform you and make you whole, and it is His goodness, not your striving and self-efforts, that will lead you to live victoriously for His glory.

You cannot earn His favor because it is unmerited, undeserved and unearned. It is a gift from Him, a gift which He died to give so that now you can enjoy all the blessings that He wants to you to have! He wants you to know that you are highly favored, greatly blessed and deeply loved.

Give our Lord Jesus all the praise :)

1 Corinthians 3:21,23 – We have Victory in Christ!

So then let no one boast in men. For all things belong to you, and you are Christ’s, and Christ is God’s. 1 Corinthians 3:21,23

You already have everything in Christ. You are already blessed with every spiritual blessing in Christ (Ephesians 1:3).

So when the devil attacks you by saying, “Look at that small sum in your bank account! How are you going to pay the bills?” stand your ground. Declare, “I am not trying to be rich, I am rich. In Christ, I am rich!” It doesn’t matter how much you have in the bank. You are rich because you are in Christ. And as the need arises, the supply will be there if you believe that you are already rich.

It is the same with healing. The devil will try to attack you with symptoms in your body. He will try to put pain in your body, and make you feel weak here and there, so that you think that you are still sick. He is trying to make you believe that you don’t have your healing. That is the time to be conscious of Jesus’ finished work and declare, “I am not trying to get healed, I am healed! I am standing on the victory ground which Jesus has given me!”

It makes a world of difference when you fight from victory and not for victory!

Give our Lord Jesus all the praise :)

1 Peter 1:23,24 - The Word of our God stands forever!

1 Peter 1:23,24
For you have been born again, not of perishable seed, but of imperishable, through the living and enduring word of God. For “All people are like grass, and all their glory is like the flowers of the field (Isaiah 40:6); the grass withers and the flowers fall, but the word of the Lord endures forever. (Isaiah 40:8)”

Don't look to fallible man; look to our infallible and eternal GOD whose word are promises of blessings, healing, prosperity, dominion and power for our lives, that we will live an abundant and fulfilled life beyond what we can ask or think :) God is GOOD

Give our Lord Jesus all the praise :)

Hebrews 8:12 – We are under the NEW covenant

For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their lawless deeds I will remember no more.” Hebrews 8:12

We are no longer under the old covenant.
We are now under the new covenant.

And in this new covenant, God says that He will do three things for us:
Lead us — “I will put My laws in their mind and write them on their hearts.” (Hebrews 8:10) These are the laws of faith, love and liberty to guide you in everything you do. It is a spontaneous, dynamic, active and intimate way to be led by God.

Work miracles for us — “I will be their God, and they shall be My people.” (Hebrews 8:10) The phrase “I will be their God” denotes a miracle-working God. So if you are sick and God says, “I will be your God,” get ready for healing! If you are poor and God says, “I will be your God,” get ready for His supply!

Cause us to know Him effortlessly — “... all shall know Me, from the least of them to the greatest of them.” (Hebrews 8:11) The Greek word for “know” here is eido. It means to know intuitively without effort. This means that you will know God easily.

The clause that makes it all possible:
“For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their lawless deeds I will remember no more.” The words “no more” in the Greek carry a strong double-negative sense. So God is saying, “I will never, by no means, remember your sins!”

The more we believe this in our heart, the more we will see those blessings fulfilled in our life. When we realize how much God has forgiven us and remembers our sins no more, we will know Him, His ways and His will for us intimately and intuitively without effort.

So believe in your heart today the clause on which all these blessings hinge, and get ready for miracles and hopes fulfilled in the days ahead!

Give our Lord JESUS all the praise :)

Colossians 2:10 – You Have Jesus: He is Everything You Need!

...you are complete in Him, who is the head of all principality and power. Colossians 2:10

When God gave us Jesus, He gave us not just His best, but also everything. We are truly rich because we have Christ, our all in all.

When we have Jesus, we truly have everything. Jesus is our wisdom, our righteousness, our sanctification, our redemption and our success. In Him are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.

When you need wisdom, Christ is your wisdom.
When you need righteousness, Christ is your righteousness.
When you need sanctification and redemption, Christ is both to you.
When you need faith, He is your faith.
When you are fearful of the odds against you, He is your favor.
When you are weak, He is your strength.
When you are troubled and anxious, He is your peace.
When you feel vulnerable, He is your shield.
When you are lonely, He is your faithful companion.
And when you are sick, He is your healing and health.

Jesus, the great I AM says to you,
“I AM to you whatever you need Me to be!”

We are truly rich because we have Christ. And in Christ we are complete. Don’t wait to have this or that before you feel complete. You are already complete in Christ – your all in all!

Give our Lord JESUS all the praise :)

Romans 5:17 – Reign in life through Jesus Christ

Romans 5:17
For if by the one man’s offense death reigned through the one, much more those who receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness will reign in life through the One, Jesus Christ...

When God created man, He did not intend for man to grow old, become weak and powerless, suffer diseases and die — first the physical death, then the second or eternal death. God never meant for man to go through all these and for death to reign. But because of one man’s offense — that man being Adam — death reigns.

The ultimate death is the second or eternal death in the lake of fire. Before this death is physical death. Before physical death, you have diseases and illnesses. Not all diseases and illnesses lead to death, but they are manifestations of death. One step before diseases and illnesses is tiredness, weakness and powerlessness, which are signs and symptoms of death. Now, all these are forms of death. As you can see, death reigns!

Are you resigned to the fact that death can strike whoever, whenever and wherever it wishes? Are you allowing death to reign in your life and in the lives of your loved ones? Or are you allowing God’s Word to tell you the truth about death?

“For if by the one man’s offense death reigned through the one, much more... ” Thank God for the “much more”! What Jesus, the last Adam, did is much more and far greater than what the first Adam did. We are those who have received the “abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness”. Therefore, our “much more” is that we will reign in life through Jesus Christ!

God considers death an enemy. He came to destroy death and give us eternal life. And the more we walk in the grace of God and His righteousness, the more we will reign in life. The more we believe in His grace or undeserved favor, and the more we know that we have been made righteous by His blood and not our good behavior, the more we will reign over all forms of death!

Give our Lord Jesus all the praise :)

Romans 8:32 – God wants to FREELY give us ALL things

He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things? Romans 8:32

If there’s one thing that and is willing to heal us. How much does He love us? He was willing to give up His beloved Son Jesus – heaven’s best – for us.

Now, once we realize how much God loves Jesus, ask ourself this: If God willingly gave Jesus up for me, would He withhold healing from me?

If God withholds healing from us after He has already given Jesus, then it would mean that our healing is greater or more important than Jesus. No! God has already given us heaven’s best. How will He not also freely give us all things, including the healing and wholeness we desire?

Whether we are trusting God to heal our body, our emotions or our relationships, catch a fresh revelation of His heart to heal us and restore to us today. Come expectantly to Him and receive wholeness in all areas of our life!

Give our Lord Jesus all the praise :)

John 3:16–17 For God so loved us...

For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. John 3:16–17

Jesus is the apple of God’s eye. He is God’s darling Son, His infinite joy and delight. Yet, God gave Jesus up for us. That’s how much God loves us. God knows there's no other way to save us but sacrifice His Son for us.

Just think about it: If you knew you could save a dying person by giving up something precious to you, would you go as far as to give up your only child whom you dearly love for that person? Yet, that is exactly what God did to save us. Jesus, God's beloved Son, died on the cross to cleanse us, heal us and redeem us — spirit, soul and body! "Jesus was pierced through for our transgressions, He was crushed for our iniquities; the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed." (Isaiah 53:5) Jesus Himself went willingly to the cross for our sake! That is how precious we are to God!

Today, meditate on this truth and let God’s amazing love wash over you. It will drive out every fear, put strength and boldness in your heart, and cause you to walk in His provision, protection and peace.

Give our Lord JESUS all the praise :)

1 John 4:18 – Perfect love casts out fear

"There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear..." 1 John 4:18

Fear was foreign to man until Adam sinned against God. For the first time, Adam knew fear, and he hid from God and said, “I heard Your voice... I was afraid... I hid myself.” (Genesis 3:10)

Since then, man has been living in the realm of fear – fear of the future, fear of what others might say, fear of diseases, fear of flying... Actually, every fear is born out of the feeling of being cut off from God.

The antidote to fear is God's love. The apostle John says that “perfect love casts out fear”. When you know that Abba Father Daddy God so loves you that He gave His Son to take your beating so that you can take His blessings, you will stop fearing.

It was not the nails that kept Jesus on the cross. It was His love for you. And if God did not withhold Jesus – His one and only begotten Son whom He loves, why do you think that He will withhold healing, finances or a blessed marriage from you?

Today, when you hear His voice, you will hear Him say, “You are My beloved child, in you I am well pleased.” He is out to protect and provide for you, so fear not!

Psalm 23:1 – The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.

Under the new covenant, we get to meditate on the person of Jesus when we meditate on the Word. Jesus is the Word made flesh, and as you meditate on His love for you, on His finished work, on His forgiveness and on His grace, you will have good success.

You can just take one verse and meditate on Jesus’ love for you. For example, you can begin to mutter Psalm 23:1 under your breath: “The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want.” As you meditate on this simple verse, you begin to realize that the Lord is (present tense) your shepherd. A shepherd provides for his sheep, feeds them and protects them. Because Jesus is your shepherd, you shall not be in want for anything. You shall not lack wisdom, direction, provision — anything.

Now, in this short period of meditating on Jesus, faith is imparted and your heart is encouraged with the reality that Jesus is with you, even when you are facing challenges. Whether you are a homemaker, salesperson or business owner, your soul will be nourished and strengthened when you meditate on Jesus. In fact, He will propel you into success without you even realizing it! Without you having to scheme or make all sorts of plans, He will direct your steps and cause doors of opportunity to supernaturally open wide for you. When you meditate on Jesus, your ways always become prosperous.

Numbers 21:8-9 – Look to JESUS and LIVE!

Then the LORD said to Moses, "Make a snake image and mount it on a pole. When anyone who is bitten looks at it, he will recover." So Moses made a bronze snake and put it up on a pole. Then when anyone was bitten by a snake and looked at the bronze snake, he lived. Numbers 21:8-9

When the children of Israel were bitten by serpents in the desert, God told Moses to make a bronze serpent and put it on a pole – a picture of Christ being judged on the cross. (John 3:14) Those who looked at the bronze serpent instead of their wounds were healed. (Numbers 21:9) He who looks to Jesus lives!

Look to Jesus. He is our covering, protection and deliverance!

Romans 14:17 – Kingdom of God is in You

But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. Matthew 6:33

For the kingdom of God is not eating and drinking, but righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit. Romans 14:17

If we are supposed to seek first the kingdom of God every day (Matthew 6:33), then we should know what the kingdom of God is in the first place. I used to think that the kingdom of God was the mission fields and that to seek it meant doing missionary work.

Then, I realized that the kingdom of God was not something outside you flowing in – “the kingdom of God is not eating and drinking”, but something inside you flowing out – “righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit”.

So to seek first God’s kingdom means to make it a priority every day to have your inner man flowing with righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit.

Righteousness is not your own righteousness based on what you do. It is not good works. It is a gift from Jesus who is your righteousness. (Romans 5:17; 1 Corinthians 1:30) God wants you to be established in the truth that you are the righteousness of God in Christ. (2 Corinthians 5:21)

“Peace be with you” were the words that Jesus spoke to His disciples when He appeared before them after His resurrection. He also showed them His pierced hands and side. (John 20:19-20) God wants you to know that His Son’s finished work has given you peace. Your conscience can be at rest because your sin debt has been settled. You have peace with God and the peace of God.

Joy will come into your heart when you see Jesus in the scriptures, worship songs or anointed preaching. It is the same joy from the Holy Spirit which filled the disciples’ hearts when they saw Jesus, His hands and His side. (John 20:20)

So every day, make it a priority to see yourself righteous in Christ. Don’t be conscious of your sins. Instead, be conscious of your righteousness. And whether you are reading your Bible or listening to anointed preaching, see Jesus with His pierced hands and side, which speak of His finished work. See all your sins forgiven, and you will flow with peace and joy. When you do this, you are seeking the kingdom of God!
