Isaiah 53:4,5 – SURELY Jesus finished it all at the cross

Surely he has borne our sufferings and carried our sorrows; yet we considered him stricken, and struck down by God, and afflicted. But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and by his stripes we are healed. Isaiah 53:4,5

SURELY (not maybe but SURELY) our Lord Jesus has borne our sicknesses and carried our pains. And as we believe this truth, SURELY, our healing and breakthrough will come because Jesus finished it ALL at the cross when He cried, “It is Finished!” (John 19:30)

Psalm 119:164 – Develop Godly Habits

Seven times a day I praise You, because of Your righteous judgments. Psalm 119:164

It was David’s habit to praise God seven times a day. It was Daniel’s habit since his youth to pray three times a day to God. It was Jesus’ habit to go to the synagogue every Sabbath to read the Word. And it was the early church’s habit to meet together often and break bread.

Let godly habits deepen your relationship with Jesus – and overcome every challenge with a strong consciousness of His presence and love!

Philippians 4:19 – Supplied According To His Riches in Glory

And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.
Philippians 4:19

Aren’t you glad that God’s supply toward us is not according to the state of the world’s major economies? Neither is it according to whether natural calamities or economic woes have paralyzed these key economies. No, He supplies our needs – He protects, provides and restores to us what we have lost – according to His riches in glory, which are limitless and totally unaffected by world events!

So come what may today or tomorrow, be encouraged to know that God is well able to supply ALL your needs. There is no problem in your life that escapes His attention, or that is too big for His grace to provide. When His supply is according to His riches in glory, He not only has your back covered, but He has also gone before you and made available every provision to you (Psalm 139:5, NLT).

My friend, you can live life with confidence and boldness. Your heavenly Father watches over you and has already provided you with whatever you need to live victoriously as an overcomer!

Mark 5:36 – Only Believe & You Will Receive

...He (Jesus) said to the ruler of the synagogue, “Do not be afraid; only believe.” Mark 5:36

To Jairus, who had just been told that his daughter was dead, Jesus said, “Do not be afraid; only believe” (Mark 5:36). Jesus then goes to the house and brings the little girl back to life.

All we need to do is believe that our Abba Father Daddy God blesses you out of the riches of His grace and because of the finished work of His Son, Jesus. You see, it’s not about what you have done, but what Jesus has done. So as long as you come to Him depending on His unmerited favor and believing that He is both able and willing, you will receive from Him the miracle you need!

2 Corinthians 5:21 - Jesus' Blood makes us Righteous before God

He made Him who knew no sin to be sin on our behalf, so that we might become the righteousness of God in Him. 2 Corinthians 5:21

Jesus’ blood has been shed for the remission of all your sins. You are now the righteousness of God in Christ. (2 Corinthians 5:21) By His one perfect sacrifice, He has perfected you forever. (Hebrews 10:14, KJV) There is no spot in you!

Jesus’ blood shed for you is what overcomes the enemy and qualifies you for every one of God’s blessings today. No matter what has been said about your situation, put your faith in Jesus’ blood and see it availing for you!

Today, the devil has no right to tell you that you cannot be blessed because there is something wrong with you. So as you are waiting for your miracle, say, “Nothing’s wrong with God, nothing’s wrong with the Word and nothing’s wrong with me! I am going to receive my miracle!”

Give our Lord Jesus all the praise :) Hallelujah!

Hebrews 4:10-11 – Enter His Rest

Hebrews 4:10-11
...he who has entered His rest has himself also ceased from his works as God did from His. Let us therefore be diligent to enter that rest...

Today, there are believers who still cannot believe that the work of Jesus is truly complete and finished. They are trying to complete a completed work, finish a finished work and defeat a defeated devil. There are believers today who are always working and trying to produce their healing, success and victory. God wants us to stop trying and start trusting in His love for us. He wants us to stop working and struggling, and start resting and believing in His grace toward us.

The only “work” left for us to do today is to enter His rest. We are to labor every day to enter His rest. We are to rest inwardly and believe that the work is done because it is a finished work, and trust in God’s undeserved favor toward us. We are to rest in Jesus our true ark, who will carry us through tempestuous waters.

Let’s enter His rest. Let’s enjoy sitting together with Christ in the heavenly places, then we will run and not be weary! (Isaiah 40:31)

Ephesians 2:8 – Saved by GRACE, not works

For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God.
Ephesians 2:8

Good works are important, but they can’t save you. The only thing that can save you is the blood of Jesus. And when you put your faith in Jesus and His finished work, you are saved for all eternity, with no strings attached because grace is not grace if your works have any part to play in it ("Now if by grace, then it is not by works; otherwise grace ceases to be grace." – Romans 11:6)! That’s why the gospel of God’s grace is truly GOOD NEWS!

And it is knowing and believing this that produces godly fruits of faith and righteousness in your life!

Give our Lord JESUS all the praise :) Hallelujah

Ecclesiastes 9:11 – God provides, so stop striving

"...the race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong, nor bread to the wise, nor riches to men of understanding, nor favor to men of skill; but time and chance happen to them all." Ecclesiastes 9:11

God wants you to know that He is your God of divine happenings. He will place you at the right place at the right time, where you will meet the right people and do the right things!

Whatever you need, God knows where you can get it, and whom you can get it from. He positions you at the right place at the right time and sets you up for good success!

If you are facing challenges today, whether it is a lack in any area, addictions, fears, sicknesses or broken relationships, stop striving or struggling to make things better.

First know that you are important to Jesus. He knows you, yet accepts and loves you perfectly. When you begin to see how much He loves you, you will realize that it is not your striving, but His unmerited favor that will perfect every imperfection and overcome every weakness in your life.

So, beloved, look to Jesus for that protection, deliverance, restoration or provision that you need!

Hebrews 10:22 – No more sin on your conscience

"let us go right into the presence of God with sincere hearts fully trusting him. For our guilty consciences have been sprinkled with Christ’s blood to make us clean…" Hebrews 10:22

Have you ever walked around with a pebble in your shoe? Even though it’s just a tiny little stone, it affects your ability to keep walking, doesn’t it? Just imagine shopping or sightseeing with a pebble in your shoe. You’re not going to have much fun!

Having sin on your conscience is like having a pebble in your shoe. You can’t really go far in your walk with God. Like the pebble in your shoe, it’ll cause you to stumble and slow you down. Sin constantly pricking your conscience is like the sound of dripping water in the still of the night—it prevents you from getting any rest!

The only way to find rest for your conscience is to point it to the cross of Jesus. There, every sin that you have and will ever commit was punished in the body of your substitute, Jesus. Because of His sacrifice, all your sins have been forgiven and washed away by His cleansing blood.

Today, you can approach God with boldness and faith because your conscience has been cleansed by Jesus’ blood. The more you believe this truth, the more you’ll walk with a conscience free of the pebbles of sin, and the further you’ll go in your walk with God!

John 20:12 – Jesus is our Mercy Seat

And she saw two angels in white, sitting where the body of Jesus had lain, one at the head and one at the feet. John 20:12

In the Old Testament, the Ark of the Covenant was a symbol of God's presence with Israel. The Ark had a mercy seat made of gold (for divine righteousness) with two cherubim, one cherub at one end and one cherub at the other end, with their wings spread upward, covering the mercy seat with their wings and facing each other; the faces of the cherubim are to be turned toward the mercy seat. (Exodus 25:10-22) And Mary saw the two angels in the tomb where Jesus had been laid, one angel at one end and the other angel at the other end!

The Ark of the Covenant contained the golden pot of manna (a symbol of Man's rejection of God's provision), the Rod of Aaron (a symbol of Man's rejection of God's leadership) and the two tablets of stone - the 10 commandments (a symbol of Man's rejection of God's standard of Holiness). The mercy seat covered all of man's sins and put man in right standing with God with the sprinkling of blood on the mercy seat by the high priest of Israel.

In the New Testament, JESUS is our mercy seat and He shed His blood for all our sins at the cross. His righteous blood now covers all our sins and unrighteousness and makes us righteous and acceptable before Abba Father Daddy God, that we may now stand in His presence and receive all His blessings and deliverance from ALL that is evil and bad in our lives :)

The Old Testament is God concealed and the New Testament is God revealed!

Nehemiah 9:6 – Let JESUS be the Centre of it all

Nehemiah 9:6
You alone are the LORD. You made the heavens, even the highest heavens, and all their starry host, the earth and all that is on it, the seas and all that is in them. You give life to everything, and the multitudes of heaven worship you.

God’s Word says, “And He is before all things, and in Him all things consist.” (Colossians 1:17) The Greek word for “consist” means “held together”. In Christ, all things are held together. And that is why when Christ is the central figure in your life, you will have it all together. Your mind will be held together. Your hopes and dreams will be held together. Your family will be held together by the cords of His love.Your life will not be empty, but full of God’s goodness because “Christ in you, [is] the hope of glory”. (Colossians 1:27) It is a wonderful life - this life lived above the sun. And you will have an even more wonderful life to come in heaven!

When you are not enjoying abundant life, you will feel as if life is full of toil. In your heart, life is meaningless and empty. You feel like someone “grasping for the wind”. (Ecclesiastes 2:11)

It seems as if nothing you do adds up to much. The Bible calls this life “under the sun”. (Ecclesiastes 2:11) Someone who lives life under the sun may or may not know God, but God is either forgotten or not the center of things in his life. His thoughts are earthly and he does things to gratify his flesh. In the end, he finds life depressing and unfulfilled. Life under the sun is full of despair.

But this is not so with someone who lives life above the sun with God. For life with Him is filled with joy and pleasures at His right hand. (Psalm 16:11) Life is abundantly full and good just as Jesus promised - “I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly” (John 10:10).

When you live life above the sun, your thoughts are heavenward and you become Christ-occupied. You live for Him because you know that all things were created through Him and for Him. (Colossians 1:16) When you live for His glory, your life takes on a new meaning and purpose.

Psalm 91:1,2 – The Lord Is Your Refuge

Psalm 91:1–2
He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in Him I will trust.”

Every day, we are bombarded with news of conflicts, natural disasters, diseases and new strains of drug-resistant viruses. We also hear of people losing their loved ones in freak accidents. And we ask ourselves, “Is there a place where I can take refuge from a world gone mad?”

Yes, there is! God foresaw all these things and He has promised in His Word protection from every evil known to man. There is no trap set by the devil that our Father cannot deliver us from, if we trust in Him and take Him as our refuge. That is His promise in Psalm 91.

Whatever the attack, God says, “You shall not be afraid of the terror by night, nor of the arrow that flies by day, nor of the pestilence that walks in darkness, nor of the destruction that lays waste at noonday.” (Psalm 91:5–6)
Because you have made Him your dwelling place, angels are watching over you right now. (Psalm 91:9–11) They give heed to the voice of God’s Word, so you should give voice to God’s Word. This means that you should agree with and speak what God’s Word says about His preserving and protecting you. Then, angels are sent to minister for you. (Hebrews 1:14)

Don’t say, “If it can happen to them, it can also happen to me!” Say, “A thousand may fall at my side and 10,000 at my right hand, but it will not come near me!” (Psalm 91:7) The world says that you cannot but expect danger all around. God says, “You are in this world but not of this world. You have My protection because you are of Me and in Me.” (John 17:14–23)

You have access by faith into the secret place of the Most High where no evil can touch you. There is no need to fear living in the end times because the Lord is your refuge and fortress. His Word says so. And those who trust His Word completely find His Word completely true!

John 18:6 – No Greater LOVE than this!

John 18:6
As Jesus said "I Am,"
they all drew back
and fell to the ground!

They had come to arrest JESUS
but fell when He spoke (such power)!
Jesus had to wait for them to get up
off the ground so that they could arrest Him.

No one can take HIS life!
JESUS laid down His life
for you and I because He knew
that only he could save us!

For GOD to create, He only had to speak.
For GOD to save, He had to BLEED!

John 15:13 – No Greater Love than God's Love

John 15:13 – Greater love has no one than this, that he lay down his life for his friends.

1 John 3:16 – This is how we know what love is: Jesus Christ laid down his life for us.

Romans 5:8 – But God demonstrates His own love towards us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

1 Corinthians 11:24 – The Bread of LIFE

1 Corinthians 11:24
and when He had given thanks, He broke it and said, “Take, eat; this is My body which is broken for you; do this in remembrance of Me.”

Have you ever taken a close look at the Matzah bread that the Jews eat during their Passover meal? The bread, which is unleavened, is pierced with rows of little holes forming stripes. It is also slightly burnt. Many churches today use this bread for the Holy Communion.

Do you know why the bread is pierced, striped and burnt?
My friend, the bread that you hold in your hands when you partake of the Lord’s Supper speaks of the body of our Lord Jesus Christ when He bore our sins and sicknesses on the cross.

Like the bread, He was pierced in His brow by the crown of thorns as well as in His hands and feet by the nails. He was also pierced in His side by a soldier’s spear. The prophet Isaiah says, “He was pierced for our transgressions...” (Isaiah 53:5, NIV)

Like the bread, He was scourged on His back until His flesh was all torn and bloody, and His bones were exposed, so that today, you can say, “By His stripes I am healed!” (Isaiah 53:5)

What about the burnt marks on the bread? The full fire of God’s wrath fell on Jesus, burning up our sins into ashes, and at the same time, bringing out the fragrance of the offering of Jesus. Today, your sins and lawless deeds are but ashes, and your Father in heaven remembers them no more! (Hebrews 8:12)

So the next time you partake of the bread during the Holy Communion, know that Jesus was pierced for your sins and scourged for your healing. He bore God’s fiery judgment so that you will never be judged for your sins! He also bore your diseases and carried your pains so that you can walk in divine health!

When you discern these precious truths about our Lord’s body, you are partaking of the Holy Communion in a worthy manner. And you will not be weak and sickly, nor die before your time. (1 Corinthians 11:27-30)

No, you will be strong and healthy, and you will live long!

Proverbs 10:11 – Speak The Good You Want To See

The mouth of the righteous is a well of life...
Proverbs 10:11

Anyone can speak what he sees, but it takes faith to speak what you want to see. Anyone can state the obvious, but it takes faith to see the invisible and call it forth!

Our Lord Jesus always spoke the good that He wanted to see happen. He practiced this so much that at one time, He said, “Our friend Lazarus sleeps, but I go that I may wake him up” (John 11:11). Everyone else, including His disciples, spoke of a dead Lazarus, who was already wrapped in grave clothes and laid in a tomb. But Jesus spoke of a Lazarus who was alive, and He called forth what He wanted to see. He said, “Lazarus, come forth!” and he who had been dead for four days arose and came out of the tomb (John 11:43-44)!

The Bible tells us that “God... who gives life to the dead... speaks of the nonexistent things that [He has foretold and promised] as if they [already] existed” (Romans 4:17, AMP). Beloved, you are made in the image of God and His Spirit abides in you. So if you want to see good in your life, then begin to speak it into your life. Jesus died on the cross to give you an abundant life. You have a blood-bought right to call forth a healthy body, a fulfilling career and a blessed marriage and family. Speak boldly the good that you want to see and start to experience it!

Proverbs 18:21 – The Power of the Tongue

Proverbs 18:21
Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and those who love it will eat its fruit.

Because we are in Christ, every word you speak has power - to build or destroy hopes and dreams, to restore or cause loss, to heal or break the spirit, to bring delight or despair, to bless or curse - for God’s Word says that death and life are in the power of the tongue.

So stop lining your words up with the negative circumstances. Instead, start lining your words up with God’s Word and release the power of His Word to work for you.

For example, instead of speaking lack and poverty, say, “God’s Word tells me that the good things are already here. I therefore pronounce my life blessed. I pronounce my life prosperous. I pronounce my life great. Darkness and gloom, poverty and sickness, defeat and depression, will not be in my life!”

Instead of speaking sickness and death, say, “I will live long. I will not die young. Jesus died young for me so that I can live long for Him. I am the righteousness of God in Christ and God’s Word declares that no evil befalls the righteous. So no evil will come on me now and in the future!”

Instead of speaking fear over your children, say, “God’s Word declares that the seed of the righteous shall be delivered. Therefore, my children are delivered from every curse, every power of darkness and every evil. In the name of Jesus, I call forth a great, bright and blessed future for my children!”

God wants you to have a life filled with good days and an abundance of every good thing. So say, “In the name of Jesus, I command blessings, favor, health, prosperity, protection, dominion and power to fill my life!”

Psalms 103:5 – Renewal of Youth!

He fills my life with good things. My youth is renewed like the eagle's! Psalms 103:5

Remember the Bible accounts of two different kings who wanted Sarah, Abraham’s wife, for their harems? Can you recall how old she was then? She was 65 when Pharaoh desired her, and 90 when Abimelech wanted her!

My friend, these were heathen kings. I am sure that it was not because they were captivated by her inner or spiritual beauty. God must have literally renewed her physical youth!

Beloved, God’s Word promises a literal and physical renewal of your youth and strength. This means that if you are tired and you need more strength, God renews the strength of your physical body and causes you to have energy like that of a teenager’s! If you need help remembering things, He improves your memory and boosts your mental performance. If it is health that you need, God can also cause every organ in your body to function at its peak!

Right now, just look to Him and receive that very renewal of youth for your body today!

Proverbs 16:3 – Commit to the Lord and success follows

"Commit to the LORD whatever you do, and your plans will succeed." Proverbs 16:3

God wants you to look to Him, lean on His favor, wisdom and supply, and experience His Spirit leading you to carry out your responsibilities with thoroughness, accuracy and effectiveness.

Beloved, as you go about what you need to do today, trust the Lord to position you at the right time and place to do the right thing. Ask and expect Him to show you what you need to zero in on, and to supernaturally equip you for the demands of every situation. That’s how you walk in divinely directed diligence and stay on top of things!

John 15:5 – Without Him, we can do NOTHING!

Contrary to popular belief, this saying that “God helps those who help themselves” is not in the Bible! God does not help those who help themselves. He helps those who are helpless and dependent on Him. He helps those who look to Him as their only source of help for their problem.

Unfortunately, many of us are still trying to help ourselves, thinking that for certain matters, we don’t really need God. But God says, “Without Me, you can do nothing.” (John 15:5)

Only when we realize that we can do nothing, and are nothing in and of ourselves, can we do all things through Christ who strengthens us! (Philippians 4:13) Then, we will see the undeserved, unmerited help and favor of God deliver us from every evil!

1 Samuel 17:45 – Watch your "giants' fall before your eyes

1 Samuel 17:45
Then David said to the Philistine, “... I come to you in the name of the Lord of hosts, the God of the armies of Israel, whom you have defied.

David knew that he had a covenant with God and he acted on his belief. So God caused his giant to come tumbling down.

What is the new covenant? It is the covenant of grace. And grace means unmerited, undeserved, unearned favor. God wants us to know that He has cut this covenant with us through Jesus Christ our representative. And according to the covenant, we have His undeserved favor. We are blessed because Jesus took our beating. Because of what Jesus has done on the cross, we have victory over every giant.

Today, God wants you to stand before your “giant” and declare that in spite of what you are going through, in spite of what is happening, you believe that God is for you because of what Jesus has done for you. And then, before your very eyes, you will see the giants of accusation, intimidation, condemnation, disease and debt fall flat before you!

1 Corinthians 1:31 – Boast in the Lord, NOT in the law

1 Corinthians 1:31
He who glories, let him glory in the Lord.

God does not want us to boast in our abilities to keep the law (self-effort). If we are to have confidence in anything at all, if we are to boast in anything at all, it is in the grace of God. Only His grace can completely keep, save, heal, deliver and bless us.

So let’s not boast in what we have done or are able to do, but boast in His grace for us - that He is our strength, health, favor, prosperity, wisdom, hope, salvation and glory. That is how we will see ourselves enjoying our inheritance of abundant life!

John 11:35 Jesus wept

"Jesus wept."

Jesus wept because He felt compassion - "When Jesus saw her weeping, and the Jews who had come with her also weeping, he was deeply moved in his spirit and greatly troubled." John 11:33

Jesus already knew that He was going to raise Lazarus from the dead. That was without a doubt!
John 11:4 When he heard this, Jesus said, "This sickness will not end in death. No, it is for God's glory so that God's Son may be glorified through it."; John 11:11 Then he said, "Our friend Lazarus has fallen asleep, but now I will go and wake him up."

Yet Jesus wept. Because GOD never meant for Man to die. GOD hates death! Because of the sin of the first Adam, all men have sinned and fall short of the glory of GOD but because of the last Adam's (Jesus) finished work at the cross, now we receive abundance of grace and the gift of righteousness through the ONE, Jesus Christ (Romans 5:17)! Jesus conquered death, conquered sin and all diseases to give us health, wealth, wholeness and an abundant life till eternity.

Ephesians 1:6 – Worship Him as you are

Ephesians 1:6
So we praise God for the glorious grace he has poured out on us who belong to his dear Son.

When you come into God’s presence, don’t do any self-examination and be discouraged when you find faults in your life. God does not examine you. He sees you through the full value, and all the loveliness and acceptance of His Son. He sees you holy and without blemish!

Whatever you need from the Savior, come to Him as you are. Worship Him for who He is and then you will hear Him say, “Go your way. Your restoration has come. Your provision is here. You are healed. You have been made whole!”

Isaiah 54:9 – God swore He will not be angry with me anymore!

"To me this is like the days of Noah, when I swore that the waters of Noah would never again cover the earth. So now I have sworn not to be angry with you, never to rebuke you again." Isaiah 54:9

God doesn't have to swear because God cannot lie, otherwise He isn't God. Yet He swore that He will never be angry with me nor rebuke me again. WOW!

"The king's wrath is as the roaring of a lion; but his favor is as dew upon the grass." Proverbs 19:12

GOD is no longer angry with me because of what my Lord JESUS has done. Now whenever Abba Father Daddy God sees me, He sees His beloved Son Jesus Christ in me and His Favor - which I did not deserve, earn nor merit - falls on me like the dew upon the grass – covering me, protecting me, blessing me. Mark 12:36 – Rest To See Victory

“Sit at My right hand, till I make Your enemies Your footstool.” Mark 12:36

Many of us want our problems solved first before we adopt an attitude of rest. We say things like, “I can only rest when my healing manifests,” or “I’ll relax the day I get that promotion and pay increase.” But my God says, “Sit at My right hand, till I make Your enemies Your footstool.”

Learn to adopt an inward position of rest. When you rest, the Lord goes to work, orchestrating events in the natural and spiritual realms to bring every enemy under your feet.

You allow Almighty God to work in you, through you and in your circumstances when you rest. Sometimes, it may seem like He is not doing anything when you rest. Don’t be tempted then to move out of your position of rest. You can’t do more than He can! Stay seated – at rest – knowing that He is working behind the scenes, turning your evil days into good days, preserving you and causing all things to work out for good!

John 19:30 – It is Finished!

John 19:30
So when Jesus had received the sour wine, He said, “It is finished!” And bowing His head, He gave up His spirit.

Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ paid completely and perfectly for our total forgiveness, righteousness and every blessing! We are made forever righteous by His blood. You cannot finish a finished work.

Today, it is not our works that will bring us the blessings. It is Christ’s finished work. Christian living is not about doing, but believing in His finished work. Under the law, we must do. Under grace, it is done! Our blessings have been bought by His blood! Live life knowing that there is nothing for you to do - only believe! The victory is won. It is finished!
